Great location and cost effective alternative

Great location, the staff is lovely (reception and breakfast teams) and everything was nice and tidy. Perfect for a short stay and walk around Berlin.

This would have been a higher rating except I felt like I was sleeping on a board. I paid quite a bit for this room so I think padding that felt like it was an inch thick was unfair. It would take a 1 night booking to put in a real mattress. I saw bad reviews on the hard bed but I thought they were picky - they weren’t - it was horrible. I would have canceled the 2nd night if I hadn’t gone through Expedia. I couldn’t even sightsee the next day because my back hurt so bad. People stay for the purpose of sleeping - the most important thing is a mattress - you don’t have to spend a lot money to get a mattress - this was more like padding.

The location was good. I recommend future customers look at room photos before booking. The room was clean but looked like I was in a hospital room. Staff was nice and the breakfast was good.

Das Badezimmer hat extrem gammelig gerochen, es war unerträglich. Leider waren alle Zimmer belegt so das ein Wechsel nicht möglich war, auf dem Bettlaken waren Blut Flecken es war eine absolute Katastrophe.

Würde ich nicht wieder buchen

Das Zimmer war in einem schlechten Zustand und schlecht instandgehalten. Auch wenn es der Name des Hotels vermuten lässt, so gab es überhaupt gar keinen Komfort. Zudem gab es einen preislichen unterschied zwischen der Rechnung im Zuge der Buchung und der Rechnung, die ich im Hotel am Tresen erhalten habe. Zimmer 503. Das Problem ist nach wie vor nicht aufgeklärt.
