Excellent hotel! Would stay again

Really great hotel!! They gave me a free upgrade. Staff were excellent! I would have given it 5 stars but there was no information in my room on how to contact reception without having to go downstairs (no phone in room). Also I was not told that there was no daily housekeeping so I had to go down to reception to get a few things.

A fantastic hotel with amazing, friendly and accommodating staff. Great communication throughout as we had issues with our original flight due to a cancellation which meant amending the duration of our stay and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. The hotel itself is amazing with a brilliant river view from our balcony which I would fully recommend. 10/10.

Well designed and comfortable place to stay

- Well-designed room, good amount of space for a solo traveller - Good bathroom with a particularly excellent rainshower in terms of water termperature and pressure. - Not much service to speak of since the property does not offer daily housekeeping but staff seemed friendly enough at check-in and check-out. - Only downside here is the location which is a little far from transportation links with not much in the immediate vicinity other than tourists gawking at the East Side Gallery.

We had a lovely stay for 2 nights. Very clean, comfortable and affordable. Allowed us to check in early when we turned up 20 mins early and everything was as expected and more. Right next to the East side gallery, and walking distance to lots of food places and public transport links. Checkout at 11 is also much appreciated, option to leave luggage if you wish.

Fantastic hotel

A fantastic hotel right by the East Side Gallery. The staff were so friendly and helpful, we were able to check in early which was so needed after only an hours sleep! The room was lovely and the small touches really made a difference. It was warm but I really feel the cold so the staff were able to locate another heater for me which was so useful in the -4 weather! The room was clean and well thought-out - lights and plugs by the bed and a variety of plug sockets around the room. The bathroom was stunning and the heated floors such a bonus! Couldn’t recommend more, well worth the price.

We had an excellent 6 night stay at Locke. Quiet and convenient location - so many excellent food options within a 15- 30 minute walk. Also just 10 minute walk to west train station. Would highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a simple yet stylish place.
