Disappointed with the Booking Experience

I made a prepaid booking and was surprised to be charged again for the room when paying the city tax — unclear and frustrating. Still awaiting refund… The “family room” was very misleading. It was actually just a single room with one double bed and what best described as a “twin bed,” but turned out to be a fold-out armchair. Definitely not what I expected for a family room.

Nice and central

Family of 4, incl 15+17 year olds. Family room worked out fint, except for the bathroom with a sliding glass door and no lock or soundproofing 😅 Nice and clean everywhere and excellent breakfast, I love the fresh fruit. Location is perfect, 7 min from Alexanderplatz station, mall etc.

An sich ein Standard Mitteklassehotel. Leider die typischen Hotel“Krankheiten“ Schimmel in der Dusche und verschimmelter Klorand. Als Asthmatiker jetzt nicht so toll. Personal ist typisch freundlich. Das Frühstück etwas überteuert für verdünnten Saft (wenn man es überhaupt so nennen darf) und relativ schlechte Auswahl. Kein Räucherlachs oder Smoothies etc. Insgesamt eine normale Hotelerfahrung. Nächstes Mal wird es aber ein anderes Hotel.
