Wonderful Bordeaux

Excellent location in Bordeaux within walking distance of everything. Our first time in Bordeaux and will be one of many trips in the future. We've added a new city to our city breaks. Loved the hotel, spotless, rooms are excellent and staff very friendly.

The hotel itself is a good place to stay, I like the double doors to the room which help to reduce any corridor noise. The room was pretty well appointed. Shower over tiny bath was small but sufficed. Breakfast was lovely. When I checked in, there was a mistake regarding my room being ready...but this was corrected quickly and all was well. The reception staff were immensely helpful with suggestions of local attractions and places to eat. Josh, a member of staff who cleaned and helped with breakfast was very attentive and polite. The location is brilliant, so much to see and do close by. There is a small but very clean launderette opposite the hotel entrace (in Rue Martignac) which is great, washing fluid included in the cycle. I would definitely recommend this hotel and location.

The property was located right in the heart of the city and parking was close by . The ambiance of the hotel was cold and disengaged which came from the lack of engagement from the hotel staff . It’s a people business , make engagement part of the guest experience.
