This hotel had everything one needed: good showers, good beds, working wifi and nice location. Beautiful view across the river. And the breakfast was delicious, with fresh cooked eggs. Really, it's a great place to stay. If you want more diversity of restaurants and shopping, you might want to stay across the river. But for us, this was perfect. The only snafu is that the staff did not know that one of the main train stations was closed for renovations. I would have thought this was a big enough deal that management would have informed staff of it. Luckily, a fellow traveler overhead my inquiry and let me know. Otherwise, the staff were friendly and helpful.

A fantastic hotel on the Buda side - walk up the hill to explore all of the main attractions, or over the bridge to the Pest side. A few nice restaurants close by. The room was comfortable with a spectacular view of Parliament. We would highly recommend a stay here

Amazing hotel

Beautiful rooms with great lighting, very clean, and run by professional staff. The view of the Parliament and Chain Bridge is absolutely stunning. I absolutely recommend this hotel.

If you're seeking a luxury hotel, this isn't it. But if you appreciate a cozy, family-friendly atmosphere, welcoming staff, and a stunning view of the Danube, this place is a gem. Its location is ideal—just steps from Fisherman's Bastion, Buda Castle, and the Chain Bridge. The complimentary breakfast is a pleasant touch, and while lunch and dinner aren't served on-site, the neighboring restaurant is both convenient and delicious. All in all, a lovely stay in Budapest.

Gorgeous views from the room

Hotel Victoria was a great jumping off point for seeing all the sights. The front desk helped us with last minute dinner reservations at a charming local restaurant. Room was clean, comfortable with plenty of blankets and pillows. Loved the hot shower. Restaurant on the water next door was delicious.

This is a historical site; the owner of the hotel adapted into a modern hotel with upgraded facilities, but the back part of the building still remains its original decoration with beautiful wooden stairs and floors. The staff there are very nice and helpful; from my room there is a beautiful view from the Danube River. An absolute five star stay!

Gorgeous view of Parliament Building

This is it! You have found the best hotel. Every room in Boutique Hotel Victoria has a jaw dropping gorgeous view of the Parliament Building directly across the Danube. The breakfasts are wonderful, It is a short walk to Fisherman’s Bastion and the castle.

Only one night stay at the Hotel, so not much experience. Fast check in and check out.The area walkable, 5 min to Chain Bridge, 20 to the Parlament and others. If you partying is great. Most pubs and stores close around 10 pm. Parlament and Chain Bridge illuminated from 9 to 11 Pm on the dot. Parking was not available in the garage, but 600 Huf./ hour from 8am to 10pm around surrounding area, found one spot right in front of the hotel. Hotel is small, but nice, good breakfast from 7:30 am.
