A Decent Airport Hotel

Overall this was a decent airport hotel, and the stay was fine. I'd stay there again. The airport shuttle was fast and convenient and the staff throughout my stay were super nice and helpful. The amenities this hotel offers with the courtyard and restaurant are great. The only thing I'd mention is that there were some rough edges to the room. For example, the refrigerator in my room was leaking water all over the floor. I had to use one of the towels from the bathroom to soak up all the water and keep it from spreading. There was also a baseboard along the bottom of the wall that was just kind of peeling off and hanging out into the room. So, just in general the room could've been a little more well kept. It was nothing egregious by any means, and it wouldn't stop me from staying there again, but thought it was worth mentioning that although a good value and with good amenities, this isn't the newest property in the area and the rooms seem to reflect that. Overall, I would stay here again though.

We were there in August with 90 degree weather & the room (and halls) were HOT! No matter how low we put the ac it never went below 71 degrees! We were told the ACs don’t go lower than 70s. And believe me it felt like 80+ in the room! We could hardly sleep it was so hot! The place has no frills. Was the 2 nights with no housekeeping. We had to leave dirty linens outside room & hubby had to go downstairs to get clean towels. Restaurant attached was the best part of our stay. We would not recommend this hotel. We were sorry we stayed.

We loved our stay at this hotel mainly for the convenience of everything around! It felt like everything was conveniently 15-25 mins away including downtown, Highmark Stadium, dining, shopping, etc. Our favorite part of the hotel was the restaurant attached, Wing Dingz… best wings we’ve had. The hotel itself was perfectly fine and would stay again due to its price and location.

Our room was nice until we looked at the curtains and there was what looked to be poop on them. We turned the air down to 65 yet it never got cooler than 74 in the room. We were awoken at 8:00 the next morning by what we thought were noisy guests yelling in the hallway. It wasn’t guests, it was workers! Screaming and hollering at eachother.

Staff was great. Transport driver was really knowledgeable however for the price the amenities were subpar. Hallways were dirty, outside tables had garbage on them, musty smell and what made it worse is that we only had 4 hrs to sleep before we caught our flight and the noise barriers in the room were so poor. Not sure if there was a couple on their honeymoon but they were at it for 4 hrs straight. The screaming and bed banging were unbearable. My teen daughters were mortified. A room with better sound barriers would have definetly helped.
