Comfortable

Nice hotel. Comfortable and tidy. Had some nice touches that were spoilt due to being run down. Eg nice bath salts but they were water damaged and clearly old. Nice battery candle on the bath tub but it was broken and rusty. Hairs in the bath tub. Everything else was tidy and comfortable. Overall a great stay.

It’s a low key hotel room, just the basics, old property. In saying that it was still comfortable. Great location. Japanese gentleman on reception was lovely.

Pre check-in is amazing saves time. Great location close to ferry terminal, casino, lagoon, restaurants and supermarket all literally a block away. I couldn't thing of any place better situated. Glad I booked here.

Close to the Esplanade

Great location. Nice and close to the Esplanade. Plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. The Wifi was good, the bed was comfy and the shower good. The tlriom had a nice little balcony which we sat on during the evenings. This gave a view of the Esplanade and the goings on in the street below and was really nice. The fridge is our room was freezing the contents inside the fridge which we reported to reception at the end of our stay. We'd certainly stay here again.

Hotel location was great. It was easy to walk to restaurants and boat excursions for the reef. However, the bathroom was very moldy and the breakfast wasn’t great for what they charged. I would stay elsewhere if I were to visit again.

Dirty, bad customer service eg I requested housekeeping to clean the cigarette butts of the balcony ( we are non smokers) and clean the black dust/mould from the bathroom and air con filters. They didnt bother. Ironing board was just the metal with no padding. I had to iron on a towel. The receptionist argued with me on check out about my bookingg made 5 months earlier which they couldn't find. I had to email my confirmation and proof of payment. She then proceded to berate me about this on checkout. Sun beds were so uncomfortable i laid on the ground by the pool Overall dirty with ill mannered staff.

The facility in the staff were very good! The location was convenient for the excursions, but the downtown area is noisy in the evenings because it’s very vibrant. Something to think about if you have young children.

Easy access to the Reef terminal and esplanade shopping and dining. Great and secure car park. Shower pressure not great. After getting off elevator floor three has an additional two small sets of stairs to get to room with bags. Not convenient for older guests. Overall satisfied with the stay.
