We had an absolutely amazing stay at The Loutrel. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond—welcoming, accommodating, and genuinely attentive to every detail. Their hospitality made a real difference in our experience. The breakfast each morning was delicious, and the evening happy hour was a perfect way to unwind. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like the nightly turndown service and the cookie left for us—it made the stay feel even more special. The atmosphere, service, and overall experience were exceptional. We’re already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend The Loutrel for anyone visiting Charleston!

We had a great weekend staying at the Loutrel! The lobby bar has a fun martini passport starting with a tasty pickle martini. The room was cute and stocked with free snacks from Charleston, iced coffees in the fridge and a very nice coffee pot. All of the details were thought about at this hotel and not charged extra for, it was all included! This is exactly how it should be! A high end experience from check in.

The staff at The Loutrel were wonderful. From personalization of check-in to recommendations for dinners or activities, everything made you feel special. Welcome drinks, nightly happy hour, snacks and beverages in your room and a shared lounge and breakfast made the room rate very worth it. The hotel was only one block from City Marketplace and other venues for dining and entertainment. All walkable. We would stay here again.

Close to everything and plenty of perks with free snacks in room and lounge. Rooftop terrace has amazing views and a great spot to relax. The free drinks and appetizers from 4-5 is also a great perk. The day we were there we were so busy touring the town we missed lunch, the free bacon wrapped chicken bites hit the spot. Additionally the free breakfast was fantastic, far above what you’ll get at a normal continental breakfast. First day we were there it was eggs Benedict.

Amazing! The bar has been raised for hospitality and excellence. The attention to detail, comfort, and thoughtfulness to the guest experience was shown through beautiful high end rooms, fantastic breakfast, and many included amenities like bicycles, a free cocktail hour, turn down service, and free snacks and non-alcoholic beverages.
