Entrance door to my room was damaged. The security device was broken. Adjoining room door could not be opened due to broken deadbolt.

This is an older hotel in the midst of a half hearted makeover. Workmanship in my updated room was questionable at best, there was what looked like magic marker partially cleaned on the headboard. The toilet was loose/rocking. The housekeeping staff had the room spotless though so no complaint there. The breakfast restaurant was not staffed, I waited for 5-7 mins and no host arrived. I ended up leaving the hotel to get coffee. Perhaps it will be better organized when the renovation is complete
