We spent two nights at the Melia in Chiang Mai and enjoyed our time there. The staff at the Melia were wonderful. They were so friendly and kind. The buffet breakfast was delicious with something for everyone. I enjoyed the gym as well as the pool and the kids club was huge with lots of different areas for our 2 and 4 year old niece and nephew to play in. The room was spacious and comfortable. The two, very mild, negatives were the air conditioning as it was hard to get a comfortable temperature. It was either way too cold or too hot, despite us trying to set the temperature to something reasonable. The shower, although very comfortable, also filled up with water quite quickly so I think the drainage might need to be updated. The hotel was close to many massage parlours and coffee shops and about a 10-15 minute walk to the center of town. We would definitely stay again.

I stayed in The Level Premium Room with club lounge access. The service has been impeccable since I arrived - with welcome drinks, detailed explanations of the lounge and other services such as free ironing of 1 garment per day. The lounge on Level 21 also provided a great view over Chiang Mai, and guests were also given afternoon tea with delicious scones (and other pastries) with a variety of drinks and then evening cocktails with light dinner bites. The room was spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. Highly recommend this hotel in Chiang Mai!
