Comfy & quiet stay

I stayed in a deluxe en-suite room here but there’s a mix from dorms to shared facility singles so a good mix of people here. Room was very comfortable with simple heating settings. Nice and quiet beside the Gardens and Arts Centre, but just a short work into town for Riverside Market, etc. WiFi was a little spotty ar times though.

They gave me their most sought out suite - which was a lovely surprise as it came with a private balcony. I had an amazing view over the Botanical Gardens which were beautiful to walk in after an amazing dinner (tuscan chicken) in their dining room. I had free street parking for one of the nights. Staff were so helpful and it all supports a good cause.

The location cannot be beat. So much to explore and savour within walking distance. Room was bright and tastefully decorated.  Staff are cheery. Shout out to Jackie at reception. The hotel's focus on sustainable practices is laudable. Will definitely stay again.

Nice hotel in a good location. Noisy at night. No air conditioning and it was so hot I had a terrible sleep. When I told the staff at checkout they shrugged and said I should have asked for a fan in the middle of the night. Hopeless!
