Nanny's Bungalow - Historiallinen keskusta / Sanders Beach Sijainti

1950-luvun bungalow, jossa on nykyaikaiset mukavuudet.

Hämmästyttävä sijainti off-street parking. Vain 1 korttelin päässä Sherman Avenuelta (CDA: n "Main Street") etsimässä Sandersin rannalla. Viisi korttelin päässä järvestä, vaellus Tubbs Hill & kuuluisa Centennial Trail. Kävele kaikki suosittuja keskustan ravintoloita, pubeja, puistoja, gallerioita ja ostoksia. Yhden korttelin päässä ruokakaupasta ja polkupyörävuokrauksesta.

Nauti koko talosta itsellesi. Täydellinen turvallinen koti pariskunnille, pienille perheille, soolourheilijoille ja liikematkailijoille.

Täysin varusteltu keittiö, kaikki liinavaatteet / pyyhkeet. Pesukone ja kuivausrumpu. Pyörät ovat saatavilla pyynnöstä.

Olemme sisar ja veli, syntynyt Salmonissa, Idahossa, jossa isämme työskenteli Yhdysvaltain metsäpalvelun kanssa (aina luulimme, että meillä oli henkilökohtainen yhteys Smokey Bearin kanssa!). Isämme työ lopulta vei meidät Kaliforniaan, jossa asuttiin San Franciscon lahden alueella.
Jan ja hänen aviomiehensä Craig siirtyivät Coeur d'Alene -alueelle kahden nuoren pojan kanssa 1990-luvun alussa toisen sisarensa ja hänen perheensä jälkeen. Nyt äitimme ja kolmas sisko ovat liittyneet niihin kauniissa Pohjois-Idahossa.

Rick asuu itärannikolla, jossa työskentelemme viini- ja juoma-alan konsulttina. Hän yrittää päästä Coeur d 'Aleneen niin usein kuin mahdollista, ei pelkästään perhekorttipeleihin vaan myös päivittäiseen, aamupalaani Tubbs Hilliin!

Jan, sisar Julie, on realtori Coeur d 'Alenessa ja hänellä on syvällistä tietoa alueesta. Aviomies Craig on innokas urheilija ja tietää parhaat paikat lentää kalaa tai jään kalaa kauden mukaan!

Great communication and very nice cottage! Had everything we needed. 5 minute walk to town, beach and tubb hill, park and downtown. Very clean! A lot of little extras that most rentals don't have & the coffee was a nice touch. I appreciated a good old fashioned coffee maker! We will stay again.

The location is amazing! We walked everywhere. There is a grocery store one block away. Everything was clean. Beds were comfy. The only teeny tiniest of negatives was there was no creamer to go with the coffee, which was listed was provided. If we were going to have a slow lazy morning, i would have just messaged the host. But we were up early to hike Tubbs Hill, so hardly worth the trouble.

The location, peace and quiet, and the home are perfect. Kitchen is set up nice, the beds are comfortable and bathroom is put together well. I travel to the area a lot, and I always try to stay there. You cant ask for more. The host is responsive, and its in a perfect location. Will definitely be back.

We stayed for a girls weekend. This location was perfect, easy walking to the lake, Tubbs Hill, coffee, the neighborhood was quiet and the house was very cute, clean, and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable as well. We are already talking of staying here again.

My friend and I stayed here for a Girls' weekend and had the best time. The location was great - easy access to downtown and a quiet neighborhood. The house was perfect too - it had everything we needed. Communication with Rich to set up the reservation and then with Jan once we were there was so easy. It was a great stay and if we have a chance to come back, I'd definitely look up Nanny's Bungalow.

What an amazing little house. The property was clean,quiet and had everything we needed, and was close to all amenities. There were bikes for us to use which we did. Jan, one of the owners greeted us and made sure we had the contact numbers for us if we had questions or in an emergency. Jan made us feel very welcome. We will definitely rent Nanna's cottage again if it is available.

Great location, well-maintained house, easy improvements can be made

Overall, this was a sufficient place to stay for our family of four (mom & dad, 2 college-age sons). The location is great, and very quiet. We would probably stay here again, but with hopes that some easy improvements are made. The house itself was ok. For the price and property details, I didn’t expect the Ritz-Carlton. Pros for this house, in addition to the great location: well-maintained private yard, well-stocked, very comfortable living room furniture and beds, good kitchen, nice backyard patio. Cons: kitchen pans/skillets need to be purged/replaced, kitchen cooking utensils and knives need to be upgraded, window in bathroom was broken / didn’t open (with no bathroom fan, that wasn’t great), furniture details could easily be improved such as adding end tables in living room, clock on the wall, etc. I feel that the owners could put a little more thought into this place to finish it off and easily get it to 4-stars. It’s still way better than staying in a hotel, and it served us well as our CDA basecamp.

A friend and I were in town for the weekend for a wedding. This location was great for walking to the church, the reception, downtown, and the lake. We didn't need our car once all weekend.

Fabulous Stay!

We had an amazing stay at the bungalow over Mother’s Day weekend. The home was spotless, cozy, and the backyard was perfect for relaxing and barbecuing. We truly appreciated all the thoughtful touches from our hosts, along with the extra amenities that made our visit so enjoyable. Conveniently located within walking distance to downtown Coeur d’Alene, we loved exploring the parks, lake, and hiking trails, as well as sampling the delicious local cuisine. Nice, clean 2 bedroom home; just the right size for a small family. It’s close to downtown and restaurants/coffee shops. It was snowing so we didn’t really explore much but hope to be back soon.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was very clean and we had everything we needed. The kitchen was stocked well. We were close enough to town and the lake to walk. The only suggestion I have is.... it would of been nice to have a kettle for hot water as I am a tea drinker and don't drink coffee.

Just what we needed

Four of us went to visit family in CDA. The house was just what we needed. Two queen beds, outdoor seating and close to everything. We walked to dinner and breakfast. We rode bikes to the lake and had a birthday bbq on the patio. The hosts were the best and made sure we had what we needed.

Property/House Hunting

We spent a 3-day Property/House hunting in the CDA area. Nanny’s Bungalow was centrally located to go north to Athol and Sagle or south St Maries. Nanny’s was clean, comfortable and close to yummy places to eat and the grocery store. We will definitely stay there again until we find our little place of paradise in Northern Idaho!
