Check-in was good. The room smelled like old, stale cigarette smoke. All night long, there was something going on in the parking lot, or the parking lot next door. It sounded like someone was working on their vehicle. It's ok for a one night emergency stay, but I wouldn't want to stay longer than that.

Yes, by far one of the cleanest and well kept properties that we have had the pleasure of staying at, for sure. And also one of the best tasting breakfast bars in the mornings that weve had the enjoyment of attending and filling our bellies up on, yes quite good due to the circumstances and weather. You see I happen to have fractured my sternum the day before our departure to Obetz. But due to our quick accomadations to your wonderful little nook, we were able to pay our respects to the family of our dear friend Lee Gunderson, who passed away suddenly this past week, may he RIP, AMEN!!! Although this was a Sad occasion, somehow Holiday Inn Express always seems to try and help you get through rough spots of your Trip, honestly they really do. And so as always our Travels are made a little less painful during these kind of Occasions, and as always we send our upmost strongest Thanks during our time of need for Sympathy and Hardship. They were short staffed due to the weather which was totally understandable. We had to wait for our room and the one we were given the heat didn’t work. It’s a blizzard with below zero temperatures. They did give us another room when asked for which we were appreciative. What was strange is the desk clerk knew the heater didn’t work in the original room she gave us.

My room was nice but I did find hair in the bathroom. Staff were friendly and accepting. I love the variety we had for breakfast. Parking was convenient. My kids very much enjoyed the indoor pool as well. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and plan on rebooking again.

No one was working when we arrived around PM, after 15 minutes i called a few times, could hear the phone ring and no one was there. More than one person was waiting, one noticed our info out in plain site on the desk with room keys. I took the key up to that room thinking maybe this is a new way of checking in. A door down the hall unlocked and a young couple came out, said they were the "managers' their english was next to impossible to understand. It had been roughly an hour now waiting to check in. We called Holiday Inn customer service and they said it is Expedia's fault no one was at their recpetion desk. Expedia when contacted couldn't do anything. We have stayed ion litereally more than a hundred hotels in our life and will never use Holiday "it's expedia's fault" not ours again Worst experience ever.

Everything was great except the hotel manager going door to door at 9:30pm yelling “manager” and knocking on all doors until each guest answered. She said it was a wellness check. It was very inconvenient as I was in bed. I wasn’t the only guest upset about this. I have stayed in countless hotels and this was a first for me. Hopefully the last.

Very cold water when family tried to take showers. Super loud neighbors which sounded like they were in the room with you somehow. Staff was a bit off, they were completely rude, just not really friendly. Don’t really suggest using this hotel for families.

Very easy location to find with plenty of parking. Upon check in we noticed our room smelled like marijuana in a non smoking room. The front desk attendant offered to spray the room for us as they had no other rooms available. We decline the offer due to asthmatic reactions to some aerosol sprays. There was not a functioning window to open so we left the exhaust fan in the bathroom on. Other than that, the room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was also plentiful with good options.

The stay was nice. -The hallways echoed a little but wasn’t very loud or noisy was able to sleep. I was charged an additional $50 when checking into the hotel for a deposit. The sink was cracked and vanity had a chip when I checked out the room and have time stamped pictures and reported the issue to the receptionist in the morning. The security deposit was returned 3 days later. The room was clean, decorated nicely. The bed was so soft that I sunk in and could have stayed in forever. Upfront about the cost of the room, but I guess that’s how you get someone to stay. The complementary breakfast does not start until 630 am on the sign but was not available until after. The website reported breakfast started at 6am.
