Good for a budget overnight stay

It is a clean room, but basic. No amenities (like a box of tissues would have been nice, had to use toilet paper). Bed was comfortable.

Quick stay; relatively convenient location for Maggie Fischer Memorial swim race; ice machine was hidden under the stairs and there was black chunks of dirt or something that had fallen from the 'closet' it was in. The room itself was comfortable; good A/C, but loud. (Which was good for me as white noise, but definitely loud). Pot smoke smell outside the room... couldn't tell if it was on property or coming from nearby neighborhood.

Avoid at all costs!

We stayed one night after a concert at Jones Beach. The place is barely a half step up from a pay by the hour motel. I'm not usually a picky person. All I need is a decent place to lay my head at night..so when I tell you that I told my husband I wasn't sure I could sleep there...you know it was BAD. We had to walk on a metal walkway to get to our 2nd floor room, and it was so old and delapitated we prayed it wouldn't give out. Then we opened the door and were hit with the stench of cigarette smoke! I literally took a step backward it was so strong. It was the worst experience I've ever had while travelling. If it wasn't midnight, and we weren't exhausted, we'd have left and driven the two hours back home. I wish we had.

Definitely run down, and severely understaffed which is more of a management problem that it is a reflection on the staff who were on duty. Not the worst place I've ever stayed in, though. It got the job done

Concert goers crash for the night

This hotel fit the bill for my one night stay going to a concert. Was a bit disappointed that there was nobody at the desk upon arrival, but the front desk agent finally came back, apparently helping someone else. They provide an option for rollaway which was helpful ($10). Beds were nice, showers had in unit shampoo and body wash. TV channels were limited and rooms can be smoking rooms.
