Like most hotel/motel properties in Fernie this one is located on Highway #3, the main route through town. If traffic noise is an issue for you then you should probably choose to stay elsewhere. The rooms are simple and clean. The price is very reasonable and if you're just looking for a place to hang up your ski or sledding gear and sleep I would highly recommend it.

Good location, but thats about it - our room was dirty, food was left on top of fridge from previous occupants. Suite was a bit stinky and had to leave windows open. Sink was leaking and left a mess under the counter and carpet.

The Inn suited our needs, but it was very basic. The hot tub was not in service and the only service to the room was the trash getting emptied daily.

Parking can be difficult. Noise can be a problem if people are staying up late and plows are working through the night. You can hear everything in the room. Price was right for what we needed which was a place to crash for the night even though that proved to be difficult with the noise.

Bathrooms definitely need an update, ours had mold and rot in a couple areas. Breakfast was just toast and yogurt, which was disappointing. Hot tub was closed until further notice, this was not mentioned anywhere when booking. Other than those issues, the room was mostly updated and were clean. Hotel is in a great location and fairly quiet

Poor maintenance and customer service. The rooms felt rundown and dated. Bedding was basic. Our tv remote wouldn’t work, so we requested service from the front counter. They said they’d come and never showed up. Would never stay there again.

The property is a great pit-stop if you’re skiing/boarding at Fernie Alpine Resort. It’s close to town, and to local eateries, and there’s a shuttle bus which takes you up the hill - AND, if you ask in the office, they’ll provide you with free bus tickets (it’s just that they won’t tell you in advance). The rooms are clean, comfortable, warm and spacious and are serviced in a regular basis. If you just need somewhere to dry your gear out and lay your head after a hard day in the powder, it’s a very good value-for-money option. Beware of their booking system however and double-check all is in order, so that you don’t get checked out before your time is up and find your personal possessions have been packed away … and that you then aren’t offered an explanation, an apology, or any compensation!
