Dauphin Islandin harmonia

Onko viikosi varattu? Tarkista toinen listallemme, 152737, yksityisellä (lämmitettävä tarvittaessa) uima-altaalla. Tämä kaunis koti sijaitsee umpikujan varrella - vain muutaman minuutin kävelymatkan päässä yksityiseltä yhteisön rannalta, uima-altaalta, tenniskentistä ja leikkipaikasta. Lapset ja aikuiset nauttivat pohjakerroksen pelihuoneesta, jossa on välipalakeittiö, pieni biljardipöytä ja joka on ulkotilojen vieressä, jossa on kaasugrilli ja ruokailutila ulkona sekä kansi, josta on näkymät dyynille. Pohjakerroksessa on myös makuuhuone ja kylpyamme. Pääkerros on tärkein kokoontumisalue. Tilava ruokapöytä on ihanteellinen perheen aterioille ja peleille; ja viihtyisä oleskelutila on turvatarkastus kuistilla ja avokeittiöllä. Kaksi makuuhuonetta, joissa queen-vuodetta ja kylpyamme, täydentävät tämän kerroksen. Master-sviitti on kolmannessa kerroksessa - pääsy yläkertaan turvatarkastuskuistilla ja ylellinen kylpyamme erillisellä kylpyammeella ja suihkulla. Kerrossänky on tämän tason toisen kylvyn vieressä.

Mukavuuksiin kuuluu puhelin, ilmastointi, satelliitti-TV, videonauhuri, stereot, liinavaatteet, pesukone, kuivausrumpu ja kaasugrilli. Täyteen keittiöön kuuluu mikroaaltouuni, astianpesukone, jääkaappi, jääpalakone ja keittiövälineet.
Aktiviteetteihin (paikan päällä tai lähellä) sisältyy vaellus, pyöräily, golf, tennis, kalastus, villieläinten katselu, ostos, nähtävyydet, uinti, veneily, purjehdus, vesihiihto, surffaus, purjelautailu, purjelautailu, vesihiihto ja kuoret. Lähellä ovat myös ravintolat ja museot.
Dauphin Islandilla on paljon tekemistä! Käy Dauphin Island SeaLab- ja Estuarium -kaduissa, Fort Gainesissa (historiallinen sisällissodan linnoitus) ja kauniissa lähellä olevissa Bellingrath Gardens -puutarhoissa. Koko saari on lintujen suojelualue. Ja etenkin kevään ja syksyn aikana, voit nähdä monia erityyppisiä lintuja muuttoretkensä aikana.

Voit vuokrata veneitä sekä kalastukseen että nähtävyyksiin tutustumiseen. Nauti veneretkestä nähdäksesi historiallisen Sand Islandin majakan.
Voit myös käydä lauttamatkalla Mobile Bayn yli käydäksesi Gulf Shores -alueella - vesipuistoineen ja pistorasioineen. Saarella on useita mereneläviä ravintoloita, samoin kuin suklaamyymälä, leipomo ja jäätelökauppa! Voit ajaa pyörällä pyöräteillä, jotka kattavat suurimman osan saarta!
Kotimme on vain lyhyen ajomatkan päässä Mobilesta, Alabamasta, jossa voit vierailla monissa alueen museoissa, kuten Exploreumin lastemuseossa tai Mobilen taidemuseossa. Mobilella on upea perhekeskeinen Mardi Gras -juhla.

Perfect family get away!

What a beautiful vacation home - a perfect location for our extended family to gather and reconnect. We spent our days enjoying the beach, cooking together, and playing lots of games! The house is wonderfully clean, well kept, and the owner is super easy to communicate with. A gem of a vacation home!

Change of pace and much needed

We were looking for a change of pace this year and the Harmony House was perfect. Great access to the beach and pool; as well as being close to many things, including the Ferry if we wanted to venture to Fort Morgan and Orange Beach/Gulf Shores.

Another Great Stay

Stayed at Harmony again and it was another great stay. House and location perfect for a party of 9. Julie was great again to communicate with. House is in great condition with all the amenities you could possibly. Will be returning again in the future.

Great house! The separated living spaces were perfect for our early risers and late sleepers

The house is well equipped and everything needed to cook gourmet meals was there. 2 refrigerators gave lots of room. We enjoyed the pool table and volleyball net. Those extras plus bikes was an added bonus.

Amazing home!

We had a wonderful vacation on Dauphin Island. It was peaceful and very laid back! The home was gorgeous and had EVERYTHING we could have possibly needed. Right down to the bikes, scooters, wagons, and sand toys for our children! The beach and pool were just a very short walk away and were beautiful! The beach is just amazing! Thank you so much for letting us stay at your home! We had the best time!

Wonderful Stay

We really enjoyed our stay at Harmony! The house was well equipped for all 11 of us. It was great to have everyone spread out on different floors and a game/ tv area on the first floor for the grandkids. The beach and the pool were very nice. Especially enjoyed the early morning walks watching the birds and the dolphins! Julie was so easy to work with. Gave us lots of info on the Island and was quick to answer any questions. Just a great experience!

Harmony is a Beautiful House to Stay At!

This is our third year coming back to the Island for Spring Break and first time staying at Harmony. We loved it! The house setup is great for the kids to be able to hang out downstairs while the adults enjoy the kitchen/dining and screened in porch area. We loved being on the end of the cul-de-sac so the kids could ride scooters without worry of traffic. The entire neighborhood was very low key and we loved it. The pool, tennis courts, and short walk to the beach were big hits with our group. Looking forward to staying again!

10 year Anniversary

Our stay at the Harmony home was amazing. My wife and I were celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary and fount this house to be a perfect blend of 1st class charm and a casual, inviting mood. We stayed with 2 other couple friends who were also celebrating 10 year anniversaries and the 3 levels of this house made an absolutely perfect fit. The neighborhood was quiet and the beach was only a short walk away. The bikes provided by the owners allowed to ride all over the island enjoying the warm sea breeze.

Dauphin Island VRBO Gem

This property was clean, spacious, and perfectly located with respect to town in a gated community. There was plenty of room for our family of 10 and our twin boys who are under two years old had a blast as well. The property is well stocked with bikes, kitchen utensils, bath towels, games, and even a Nintendo 64. It's a very short walk from the house to the pool, tennis court, and the beach. Leave the wagon, beach chairs, pool toys, and extra propane at all because this property has everything you need. Would love to stay here again with the same group we traveled with, everyone had a blast!

Family vacation June 2022

The house was great for our group of 4 families. We were each able to have our own spaces and places to be together. We enjoyed all the outdoor spaces. The grandkids liked the porch early in the morning and the porch on the third level was a great place for rest time. The beach chairs, toys, umbrellas and the wagon and wheelbarrow to takethem to the beach was much appreciated. We enjoyed the pool as well. The outdoor shower was great after being in thr breach. Thank for sharing this wonderful home with us!m

Overall Good Stay

Location was nice. First time at Dauphin Island. Julie provided a lot of good recommendations. I do feel like there were a lot of “rules” associated with the rental (examples- how to wash the pots & pans, no food on carpet - although there were rugs everywhere - including dining room, etc.)which made us feel slightly paranoid that we were not doing everything correctly, especially since we had younger children with us. Overall the trip was good though and Julie responded promptly if we needed anything.

Perfect beach getaway

This was a very last minute trip for our family after our original trip was cancelled, and it was the best last minute trip we've ever taken! This is a beautiful house on a quiet street only a two minute walk from the pool and beach. The house is stocked with everything you'd ever need (puzzles, toys, games, beach toys, bikes, bunk bed), making it easy for our family of five to enjoy our time. The screened-in porch is fantastic, kitchen is stocked with all the pots, pans, appliances, etc. that you'd need. The beach is a beautiful, private, white sand beach. Very quiet! We were lucky to enjoy all of this before the beach closures. I can't think of a better place to social distance than Dauphin Island!

Great Home and comfortable for a crowd

Our group of 8 adults and 2 children enjoyed the spacious two living areas and the screened in porches. Lots of utensils/dishes/pots and pans for cooking as well as a blender, pancake griddle and crock pot. Great place for babies/children as there is equipment: pac and play, baby bath, gates, monitor and toys/books. Close walk to the beach with a wagon that is available for toting kids on the boardwalk and a wagon for toting beach chairs and umbrellas. Also bikes were great for riding to town. It was great having the pool for those who wanted it. Also appreciative of the large quantity of linens. Would highly recommend this Harmony for your family. Thanks Julie, great home!

Quiet, relaxing beach vacation

The house was the perfect size for our two-family beach vacation. Plenty of room to sleep 10, large kitchen/eating area. If you're looking for a quieter beach vacation, this is the place to go. There aren't the large tourist crowds. Many mornings we had the private beach to ourselves even though we were there in late July/early August. Lack of large crowds also means not as many touristy things to do like shopping, fun parks, mini-golf, etc. The older kids really loved having a tennis court close by, everyone enjoyed the beach. The community pool is definitely on the smaller side, but the lack of crowds on the beach more than made up for it. We saw lots of marine life including dolphins, fish, a wide variety of birds (but not annoying), etc. Highly recommended if you want a quieter time at the beach, plenty of beach to just stroll along and search for shells.

We rented this house for our annual family vacation. We had ages 14-84 and it worked out so well. The kids had their bunk room and the lower level rec area. Everyone else had their own beautiful bedroom. Plenty of room to spread out, we were never on top of each other. One of the best things for us was the kitchen and dining area. It is well stocked with everything you need including an electric griddle, crock pot and mixer. We used the grill as well. We ate almost every meal at the house. Plenty of room at the table and adjacent counter. Also great for family game night! For outdoor activities, we couldn't have asked for a better location. Just a very short walk to the pool and beautiful private beach. We spent a lot of time at the beach, from early morning to late night swims. The house is stocked with beach chairs, umbrellas and a wagon to haul them. The location is great for sight seeing too. Lots of fun things on the island and only 40 min to Mobile and a 40 min Ferry ride to Gulf Shores. The island is very laid back and peaceful and the people are very friendly. Three levels of living space

It was the perfect house for our large family. There was easy access to the beach, as well as the mainland via the bridge and the ferry. In addition, there were fun things to do for all ages (fishing, aquarium, water park near gulf shores and plenty of souvenir shopping). Our rental home accommodated 8 adults, 3 teenagers and a toddler. It was very spacious with 2 kitchens and 3 bathrooms. Overall, our vacation was fun, relaxing and enjoyable,

Fun for all

Our group included four generations of family and everyone had a great time. Lot of spaces gave everyone room to be alone or gather as we wanted, some rode bikes, some swam in the nearby pool, and we often all ended up on the screened in porch after dinner and talked. We went to Lighthouse Bakery, the Sea Lab, rode the ferry, ate at restaurants, and read, read READ. Highly recommend!

Comfortable accommodations and great neighborhood

Our group appreciated the quiet neighborhood and beautiful setting. The house accommodated our large group. With three separate families the three floors made it easy to all be together or divide into groups.
