Absolutely lovely, although the casino smell of smoke was overwhelming. The front desk staff were awesome, very efficient and professional. I got a riverfront room on the 27th and it was lovely. The walk in shower was fabulous and the bed was comfortable. I enjoyed walking downtown, Campus Marius was joyful and the Xmas spirit was divine.

The staff was very courteous at check in and when we walked into our room the smell of bleach ran across our noses which was very pleasant. The room was spotless and the view of Detroit was amazing. I definitely won’t hesitate to stay at this hotel again in the near future.

ELEVATORS!!! Waiting 30+ minutes for an elevator is simply not acceptable, especially when we were told by housekeeping that there wasn't even a stair option. Trying to leave, we waited over 45 minutes to get an elevator going down. Room was fine, front desk staff very friendly and helpful, but there is no way I'm ever staying there again with those elevators.
