An ok place to stay

A good place to stay...some good & some bad points though. Good: 1) Breakfast - good (though juice was watery) 2) Staff was nice 3) Outside looked great 4) entrance and lobby was nice Bad: 1) WINDOWS did not stop outside sound...we were on road side of hotel and the cars/trucks/motor cycles throughout the night were disturbing 2) The hallway and room carpeting was dated and "saggy" made it harder to pull luggage and there were spots on third floor that made it feel like sub-floor damage 3) Bathroom - (handicap) shower curtain was so short a lot of the bathroom floor was wet after the shower. 4) Pillows looked fluffy and thick, but sunk into nothing 5) booked for 5 people and the foldout sheets were not in the room (had to ask at the desk) 6) booked for 5 people and not enough towels and bath clothes in the room (had to ask at the desk) 6) PRICE - for what it is, I would have expected to pay $10-$15 less

The front desk person at check-in was great! I was traveling with a dog, and he got something off the floor in the room. I looked around the floor and found several raisins - which are poisonous to dogs. Apparently, the room wasn’t cleaned/vacuumed well. The ladies in the breakfast area this morning were very nice.
