Mary at Risen was excellent in her managing the staff and the rest of the team from Risen to Front Dest to Mohammed at JamJars who I played pool with were all very friendly and service oriented. As a retired hospitality executive I know this stems from the top. The general manager - who I did not meet - must be a great leader as it showed in staff performance. Kudos!

This was a fantastic hotel in the heart of Dubai Marina. The hotel looked clean and modern. The hotel staff were very welcoming. The breakfast options were out of this world. We were at a walking distance to a metro station, which is very convenient to move around in Dubai. A few small inconveniences that made me take a star off: - We visited a restaurant and picked some samosas from buffet. The label next to the item said, "Veg Samosa" but it turned out to be "Chicken Samosas" - Water dripping from the ceiling in our bathroom. However the staff fixed it promptly - Slow drain of water in basins - The cover on the card touch senser of our room kept falling off. I really wanted to give to this hotel a 5-start rating, but when you pay premium amounts, you expect it to be perfect in every sense. If we are in Dubai next, we will definitely stay here again
