Nice new hotel, free wi-fi w/ rewards

I remember this hotel being built on a previous trip to Dublin. It's nice, clean and in a great location for city center and bus to Dublin Airport. Staff was a little rude about the check-in time. I was literally there like 10 minutes before it started, but they still let me check in "early" My room was on the noisy side of the street so couldn't have the window open. I think it's ridiculous that you have to join their rewards program to use the Wi-Fi. I don't want to join 10 different hotel chain reward programs when traveling for leisure.

We stayed here for 5 nights. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast, which was included, offered lots of options and was always fresh. Marcela was particularly helpful at breakfast. The hotel room, while small, was well-appointed and offered all conveniences. The hotel is on O’Connell, a main artery and within walking distance to most attractions. I would definitely stay here again.

Location is everything in Dublin and this Holiday Inn Express on O’Connell Street is great. Airport coach transfer (Aircoach) picks up and drops off right outside. Easy walk to everything tourist in Dublin. Breakfast is what you would expect from a Holiday Inn. Can’t fault the place.

Reception from Dawid was warm and welcoming. We stored our luggage as we were early. Perfect location to train stations and Luas however we walked everywhere from this hotel. The rooms were clean, spacious and had a lovely bathroom and comfy bed! Breakfast was wonderful! Spacious lobby with bar. Highly recommend!

Knowing we would arrive after a 12 hr flight we paid for a two night stay so we could check in early and catch up on sleep- but they sold our room so it was not available for us when we arrived- as we planned. Double selling the room after we specifically indicated our arrival time and had paid for it, which left us waiting for our paid room to be vacated and cleaned before we could use it. Not ethical. Very unhappy with this situation.

This property is fairly new. The rooms are all upgraded and very clean. The full breakfast was an amazing start to our day. The hotel is located near many modes of transportation which was very convenient to travel around the city, however the hotel was also located clise to many sites which are easy to walk to.
