Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
This hotel was clean and conveniently located. However, the toilet didn’t flush properly and we ( .. and clearly many previous visitors…..). had to remove the cistern lid to manually access the flush lever.
We had a very comfortable stay. The location was very walkable, and it was easy to access public transportation. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful.
Very disappointing accommodations. Lack of air conditioning was a problem in July. My shower stall was tiny and the folding shower door would not close fully. Very noisy street so when the windows were open for some relief from lack of air conditioning I was not able sleep.
One positive of the hotel was the 5 minute walk to the tram.
Just outside the centre of Dublin but with an easy bus ride (10 minutes) to the city centre. The buses take coins or a Leap card. Many local outlets sell them e.g. supermarkets.
The staff are very friendly and helpful.
An enjoyable stay.
The staff were very nice. It is in a busy area, so expect there to be noise. This is a very old building, and windows are it's ventilation, so if you are use to a/c, this isn't nfir you. It's great for the traveler who doesn't need a lot and wants to be close to Heuston Station. I would stay here again.

Traffic light crosswalk was constantly beeping outside
Loved everything about this place people and atmosphere wise. No AC but we knew that going in.
The only complaint was that we slept with windows open because of the heat. There was a stop light with a cross walk and it beeped constantly through the night. Not the fault of the hotel but it made it hard to sleep.
Nice single bed room with en suite. I did not use the (chargeable) breakfast. Not aware of any bar food or in house restaurant. Reception and housekeeping staff were nice and friendly. Tea/Coffee avaible in room with kettle and hair dryer. Iron and ironing board available (from reception). It is a bit of an old building with creaky floor boards. Phoenix Park and Heuston station are a short walk away. Temple bar and the centre of Dublin are an average of 20 minutes walk
Very well located. Very nice staff. You get what you pay for but for these prices they could invest in a little nicer interior and make people happy. It did the job. I would stay again in that, well, everywhere in Ireland is overpriced. If only they would go out and have a look at standards in decent countries. This is old school. It is so easy just to invest a little and the world will be a better place. Don't give up Ireland. You can do it!!
Check in was quick and the room was adequate for a one night stay. It has a very small TV with only local programming. Finding parking is not eas, but there was a great restaurant very close.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
I stayed here for 5 days last week and was sufficiently satisfied to book anither 2 nights this week. My only minor complaint is the inconsistency in breakfast service. On Monday and Tuesday, during week one, I arrived for breakfast at 7.30 am and was made very welcome. On arrival on Wednesday morning at the same time I was informed breakfast was not available until 8 am. This was disappointing, as the continental breakfast was excellent. I had to make alternative breakfast arrangements for the rest of week one and the two days during this week. The hotel is comfortable and I believe represents good value for money. Just a shame about breakfast.
The double bedroom had a very small shower and the single room had a more commodious one - I stayed on two separate occasions. When you say things like this it seems so petty. The rooms were comfortable and the staff could not be more helpful.
Stayed for 1 night with my 3 daughters the man on the front desk was really nice and welcoming what ever we needed he didn’t hesitate to help! 2 minute walk to phoenix park and a 10 minute walk to Dublin zoo when walking through the park! Our flight home was late afternoon and hotel let us leave our luggage while we went exploring after check out… family room was spacious and really comfy bed clean and nice bathroom and reasonable price for the location.. 30 minute drive from Dublin airport 36 euro by taxi.. would definitely stay here again in the future
