Dundee Wine Country -näkymä

Kun suunnittelet seuraavaa matkaa Oregonin viinimaahan, katso, että tämä viihtyisä, keskeisellä paikalla sijaitseva Dundee-koti sijaitsee. Host and communication were great! Every place is unique so although this home did not have things like coffee (or pepper) it was clean and as pictured. It's a great spot to be near the many, many wineries and Trellis restaurant was terrific. Summer would make the outdoor space really great.

Perfect place to stay for our wine tasting weekend. Within 15 minutes of several wineries and just up the hill from great restaurants. Kitchen is well equipped and we enjoyed meals on the deck. One morning we were lucky to get to watch the ascent of hot air balloons!

Work trip and Thanksgiving trip

The house was nice inside but I would not recommend this house for anyone who wants to bring their pets. The fence is nonexistant, lots of ways for you pet to get out. Also the destription of the rules was very unclear when booking. My husband and I wanted to have our two older boys and their family over for dinner and we were told we could only have a total of 6 people at the house at any given time (that included me, my husband and our two younger children). When I inquired about having our two older children and their wives and children I was told absolutely no and that if I did we could asked to leave the property. So if you have more than 6 people in your immediate family I guess you will have to tell someone they can come or they will have to stay outside. NOT FRIENDLY AT ALL. WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN! I SUGGEST YOU DON'T EITHER.What a way to celebrate Thanksgiving, a time to spead with family unless your family is made up of more than 6 people. LOL!!!God BlessSarah

Great location for wine tasting but the house itself is tired and in need of a refresh and repairs. Baseboards are dingy and some pulling away from the walls. 2 of the reclining seats didn't work and one of the ones that did work, didn't work correctly and comes back at sharp angle. Handles are coming off some of the kitchen pans and found stuck on food on a couple of plates in the cabinets. It worked for us but is in need of TLC.

Weekend away

Great layout and very clean. Plenty of towels, dishwasher tabs, soap, toiletries etc all provided. Log fire was lovely but all wood need to provide yourself. Lounge seats 5 so we struggled a bit for seating for our group of 6 and one person always had to sit on a kitchen chair.

Nice older home.

Several of the reclaimers in the couches are broken. The hot u. Must have a small leak. We filled it up every night after we used it. One of the small coffee tables are also broken. The master shower was not available for use. We made cupcakes and left the muffin pan for others to use,

Great- just a few thoughts

Overall our stay was great- perfect location for everything we wanted to do. House had perhaps been closed up a bit —at first had a strong dog odor we just opened windows and aired it out. House was clean in all The important ways. A amazing morning view from rear deck Just a few random things-each bathroom had barely any toilet paper- only 2 rolls for an almost a week stay for four . Kitchen table chairs and living room furniture in rough shape- it gives you an uncomfortable feel - when legs are very weak you don’t want to be the “family” who breaks anything, ya know?A lot of mid-matched kitchen ware I.e. no lid for blender- but at least there was a blender, right? 😉 Would we rent again, probably- but we might also check prices in other properties.

Wine country

We as a family gathered in Dundee to help a friend as he moved into a retirement community. Beautiful vineyard view at sunset. Our oldest family member our dog was able to be with us and it was a quiet community yet had great restaurants and at least 25 tasting rooms within 5 miles of the house. Would definitely stay again.

Just a few things

Lovely stay, clean, pretty area. One item to note is that in the master bath the shower control/handle was missing. A bit inconvenient to have to shower in the other bath. Another small observation would be to have tissue in the bathrooms and enough coffee for the length of the stay. Otherwise it was just fine and an enjoyable stay. Thank you.

Great for family with kids and teens!

The location was the highlight of this home. Quiet street, 10 minute drive from grocery, even less to some restaurants and wineries. Wings and Waves was only 15 minutes away. The place was fairly clean and deer walked around in the yard while I sat in the hot tub. Overall this place was very nice!

The house is in a great location

Beautiful neighborhood surrounds this home. They let us bring the dog and the grass is lovely. There is a walking path close by and a trial to a creek, too. Be prepared to hear your guests though at bedtime due to the hollow doors and lack of insulation throughout the old home. The bathroom that is supposed to work for 4 guests has no hooks, towel rack, shelving etc so you have to transport toiletries in and out. Overall, it would be better for a single family versus 2 sets of adults. Our trip was about wine and the central location makes it perfect for that.

Comfortable for the Family

Great property for our Thanksgiving visit. Very animal friendly, but well-cleaned. Beds and linens were comfortable with ample towels. Wonderful space for our family of 6. Quick and responsive management when we had a minor issue! Would recommend new shower-heads in upstairs bathrooms, extra trash bags for kitchen, and DVD player downstairs. Highly recommend and would stay again.

Great Home in Quiet Neighborhood

This home was comfortable and worked out great for our group. The home was clean upon arrival. The neighborhood is quiet and has a great walking trail about a quarter mile up the street. The hot tub was a nice addition.
