Average but needs updates

Quiet, comfortable, average motel. Large comfortable rooms could use refurbishment. A/C was quiet. Breakfast was tasty with many options including proteins as well as carbs. Disappointed that hot tub and sauna were in disrepair but pool was ok. Building security lacking as back door was always unlocked, indoor swimming pool windows always open.

It is an older motel style but it was clean and quiet and the beds were comfortable. The lobby is in another building and they have hot tea and coffee for free. There is a mini fridge in the room and a large television. The pool needed some tree branches or bushes cut back around where the creek sitting area is and a can of insect repellant would be a nice addition.Could not sit long because of mosquitos.

If I could give zero stars, that is what you’d be getting. There were two screws on the floor right outside of my bathroom that I stepped on with bare feet. There were spiders crawling on the walls and in the bathroom. The lock on my room looks like the door had been kicked in and the lock quickly replaced as it was hanging on by a screw (probably where the screws on the floor came from,) therefore I couldn’t even lock my door, as it wasn’t lining up. There was mold in the bathroom shower. The night we checked in, the two sliding doors leading into the lobby were propped wide open. (Probably how the spiders and whatever else got in). There were people loitering in the parking lot. Also in the parking lot, a guy was passed out in his vehicle with his legs hanging out the window. The room next door was a baseball team that sounded like they were having a party, there were kids running up and down the halls. I know this isn’t in the hotels control but still, not very pleasant after all day travels and just wanting to rest. All this was brought up to the front desk and they didn’t seem to care, never even apologized for the poor stay. I hardly ever leave reviews unless it’s extremely excellent service, or extremely poor service, because in the middle is what you’d just expect. But I felt a review was absolutely warranted to save anyone else from having an awful stay. Will not be staying here EVER again. If you’re on the fence about where to stay, pick the other place
