This was a super nice area - loads of restaurants, pubs and shops. Double decker bus was great for getting around to see the sights. Everything you needed was at our door step! The bedding was nice, they had coffee, tea and hot chocolate in our room with delicious cookies. It was nice to have a window open for fresh air as well!

Our room was well kept, and spacious. It was nice having so much space after being in such small rooms during our holiday. The staff are super friendly, and always willing to help in anyway they can. I love that they had a glass carafe in our room for us to refill at a water station on our floor. There is one on every floor I believe. It’s nice having water for our reusable cups as we go around town, or to finish up the day with a cup of tea. We had such a lovely time in Edinburgh, that we would gladly rebook at this location again when we return.

The staff was helpful and friendly. They had loads of ideas on what to do or where to eat. The view of Edinburgh castle from the balcony room was stunning. We loved all the Grassmarket area had to offer. The room was clean and exactly what we were expecting. The breakfast was a good deal and the bus stop was right out front of the hotel.

If you really wanna experience Edinburgh and not have to uber everywhere, this place is very centralized and probably within a mile of most of the stuff we did there. Convenient to the best pubs and restaurants, near the Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile. And the hotel and staff itself were very nice and was an overall great experience for our first 2 nights of our trip. Will definitely visit again.

Loved our balcony room. Cozy bed. Great staff. Easy walkable location to the Royal Mile and Victoria Street, the fountains and the Scott Monument. Overall central location. Pool is nice too. Highly recommend a balcony room.

Could have used accent lighting in bathroom. Glass door let too much light in room to sleep at night. But with lights off it was totally dark! Asked them and they had no answer.
