Lovely large room and bathroom. Nice but slightly tired decor in room but spotlessly clean. Very quiet despite proximity to transport links. On arrival we were concerned by large hole in reception area ceiling however we didn’t need to be as room was excellent. I would happily stay here if returning to Edinburgh as it is priced really reasonably. Overall great stay

You must stay here if you want a fabulous location! It is a quaint hotel with a spiral stairway we had to use at one point in the journey to get to our room. It is full of great restaurants and coffee shops nearby. The lobby is fun and full of Scottish wool plaid and tweed upholstery. The 24 hour deck is polite and always willing to help. They will pour you a drink in the lobby so you can relax before you go out. Quite cozy! I would stay here again.

Great location, good hotel , room tv and entertainment options quite below par. Bath amenities below par. Heat system only a couple hours a day, but enough. It’s a good hotel, but it feels like they cut expenses wherever they can. Front desk people are nice people but you still feel like a number.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Parliament House Hotel. The staff was very friendly, clean room, a short walk from the train station and shops and restaurants nearby. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location to explore Edinburgh, I'd come back here for sure. It would be nice if breakfast was included for the price, but otherwise no complaints.

Convenient hotel near Edinburgh Waverly station

The hotel is an older stately building which has been adapted to have rooms. While the rooms are furnished in a more traditional manner, they are small by contemporary standards and there was no easy means to cool them down other than opening the windows. The rooms were clean and comfortable but street noise could be an issue when the windows were open. The hotel is well located near many restaurants, cafes and shops, and a 5-10 minute walk from Edinburgh Waverly station.

Short break at Parliament House

Nice friendly and helpful staff with a well-appointed room. Blackout curtains good, but a little short, (with strange TV flashing lights during the night). Excellent location.
