Lovely two-bedroom lake house overlooking the private 20-acre lake on a 300-acre ranch. Watch the sunset from the covered wrap around porch. There are various trails through pasturese, woods, around the large lake, and to a smaller lake hidden in the woods. Fish from wooden piers, paddle boats, or your own human powered watercraft. There is a pavilion, used by Boy Scouts, that may be reserved for weddings, family reunions, gatherings or church events. Ring cameras are around ranch work shed area. High speed internet provided.

Our stay at Arc Ridge Ranch was exactly what our family needed. It was such a comfortable and relaxing getaway, and we truly enjoyed every moment. The fishing was incredible—we caught so many fish we lost count, including an amazing 7 lb bass!After a tough few months, this trip was such a blessing for our family of five. It gave us the chance to slow down, reconnect, and just enjoy being together. Arc Ridge Ranch truly feels like a little piece of heaven on earth.We are so grateful you shared your beautiful place with us, and we will definitely be returning!

Had a great stay! Spent time on the porch relaxing, hiked a couple of the trails on the property, and used the pedal boat to explore the lake. Loved the peace and quiet of the ranch! We would definitely stay there again!

2nd time at ARC ridge ranch. Its rustic but not in a bad way. Cel service minimal, but heck its a vacation. Wifi excellent once us non techys figured it out with manager help. Garrett, manager is super quick to reply to questions. Definitely will go there again

Serenity Defined

Adorable 2/2 cabin with wraparound porch on private pond was perfect for our escape from reality. Onsite owners quick to respond to any issue. Watching the geese on the pond & the longhorn calves frolic next door provided entertainment during long hours of conversation on the porch. Perfect. We WILL be back!

Everything we were looking for... very quiet and relaxing. My husband and my sister woke up every fishing. The paddle boats was enough added plus to the stay. The property managers was so wonderful so friendly. We will be back enjoyed every moment of it lovely place.

Paradise by the pond

If you’re headed to East Texas or you just need a great place to say owned by some really great people. Don’t look any further just book a place here my boy and I fished all day one day barbecued for Friends that evening. The owners are awesome and they’re on site, the cabin was clean and beautiful. This is exactly what we needed. It’s way out there, but it’s quiet and nice and exactly what we were looking for.

Last Minute Planned Stay....excellent experience

Due to bad weather that had gone through the Canton earlier in the day that left our rental with some clean up needed and with no power, we needed to find another place to stay. I searched VRBO for other locations close and messaged about Mermaid. I received a very quick response. The host had the cabin cleaned for us very quickly and we were able to stay there the same night. We had no idea we would wake up the next morning to such a beautiful lake view. Thanks so much for being willing and able to get the cabin ready for us quickly so we didn't miss our Girl's Trip to Canton. This would be a great place for a family or friend gathering with multiple cabins available. Thanks again, Rhonda

Disappointed

Location/property was beautiful and peaceful. Unfortunately the cabin was dirty. Food left in fridge and nasty, dirty dishes in cabinet, floors were dirty, bathtubs were dirty. I was very skeptical about laying in the bed after seeing everything that I requested to wash sheets, manager came out with new sheets and removed food in fridge. Other than the dirty cabin and the 2 dogs that were loose and jumping on you the whole time, the view of the lake was beautiful.

Quiet Getaway, Simple

This place was very out-of-the-way. It was quiet and peaceful with a great view. Unfortunately it needed some updating (broken dishwasher, wifi went in and out, one of the stove burners didn't work).

Enjoyed our stay

We enjoyed our trip to first Monday Trade Days. The cabin was adequate but needs some repairs. The dishwasher wasn’t working & water poured out around the sink facet. The yard was full of ants. The beds were great. Please beware that cell service can be tricky & internet is not the best. It is a drive from Canton but we were ok with that. Overall, it was ok just not for the amount you pay.

Great get-away!

We so enjoyed our weekend get-away at this property! We were shopping during the day in Canton, and relaxing in the evenings at this cabin/home. A big storm blew through and we lost electricity for a short while, but we still really enjoyed the property by candlelight. Highly recommend the stay here.
