Nonexistent WiFi

Wifi is basically non existent. Unable to access web unless extremely early morning or late at night. Very difficult to plan or access information when web access so limited. They need to reevaluate peak access requirements and improve the bandwidth. This is a major issue when no cell phone service is available from any provider. A major shortfall for a facility that advertises as a retreat.

Great location and literally just a few minutes from the gate to Yosemite. It was wonderful just sitting on the balcony and relaxing and watching the river after a long day at the park. Hotel has obviously been there for many years and it is showing its age, but we found it perfectly acceptable.

The stay had great views of the river and convenient access to Yosemite National Park (less than 30 minutes to Yosemite Valley). The game room had a lot of fun and free games. The gift shop and on-site market by the lobby had great items at affordable prices. I did not like the condition of the room and the amount of bugs. I thought the rooms were outdated. The WiFi internet was non-existent.

Convenient to the park

Great hotel right next door to the park. We had a nice sized room next to the river which was an amazing view. When the door was open, the sound of the river was loud, however, when shut, it muffled the sound well. Beds were very comfortable. TV reception was intermittent, dropping out occasionally and low quality picture. Internet non existent. Room had a small kitchenette, with crockery, pans and utensils. Apart from the internet, we really liked this hotel.

Great stsy at the Yosemite View Lodge. The location absolutely can't be beaten – being right on the Merced River and just minutes from the park entrance made exploring Yosemite incredibly convenient. Our room was comfortable and clean, providing a great rest after our days of hiking. Overall, if you're looking for a comfortable and perfectly situated base for your Yosemite adventure, Yosemite View Lodge is an excellent choice.

Convenient to Yosemite. Way over priced for the quality. The woman who checked me in was rude and unfriendly. The Wifi was terrible. The bathroom was nice and newly remodeled. The lighting seemed to have a short in it or just didnt work, Im not sure. The power for the light downstairs was located upstairs which doesn’t even make sense but I think it might have something to do with the short? All in all I wish I had driven the extra 40 min to another place because this was not worth the price at all. If it had been $150 I probably wouldnt have taken the time to review it. But over $400 for this??
