Guests soak up modern day luxuries while returning to a simpler time by enjoying rocking chairs or a swing on a front porch, while planning the next days' adventure. Visit Mayberry, Stone Mountain, Pilot Knob, or even the filming sight of The Longest Ride. Other attractions include numerous wineries and the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway. Excellent restaurants in the area combine great food and unique experiences. Many antique stores are available for "treasure seekers" in nearby Elkin, Mount Airy, Dobson, Pilot Mountain, and Fairview.
Fall brings colorful mountain views, the Autumn Leaves Festival (approximately 200,000 visitors) in Mount Airy and twice a year (Memorial Day and Labor Day) a huge "Hillsville, Virginia Flea Market"(enticing more than 500,000 people to the area).

The cabin is absolutely adorable! It had everything we needed and wanted. It felt cozy and warm. The hosts were amazing! We didn't understand the fireplace directions and they came out and not only fixed the issue but took the time to explain how the whole thing worked. I will definitely stay there again.
