Our guests love experiencing small living and just how it can be done without feeling the lack of stuff.
This rental is perfect for a weekend getaway or maximum 10 day stay.
Walk down a sloped pathway, unattached from our main house, to your own private paradise. (Not suitable for a wheelchair or for someone with challenging mobility issues)
Just a short 11 minute walk will take you to Moonlight Beach with surfing, swimming, fire pits, snack bar & bathrooms. Have fun walking through our fabulous Downtown Encinitas which is filled with local eateries, brew pubs and coffee houses. Adjacent to us is Cottonwood Creek Park if you like pickleball, tennis or relaxing on the grass.
Although little, this house feels spacious with its vaulted ceiling, large picture window and a double sliding glass door which opens out onto a nice deck, expanding your sense of space. It has a fully outfitted kitchen, sitting area with fireplace, nice size bathroom and a comfy queen size bed for two. Watch Netflix or Amazon on the 42" flat screen Smart TV. This mini cottage provides all the amenities of a larger home, but in an immaculate smaller space.
The shed adjacent to the house can be used for storage of larger items, luggage -surfboards, etc..
The landscaping encourages you to be outdoors surrounded by palms, fruit trees and succulents. Enjoy your coffee on the deck in the mornings and fire up the Weber grill for dinner at sunset. For happy hour sit on cushioned chairs around the fire table under the lit gazebo listening to your own music. Entertain yourself on the Mini Putting Green, play games or do some yoga; while enjoying the ocean breeze. All for your own private use.
2 Bicycles, body boards and beach supplies are waiting for you.
An active adult wonderland, enjoy bike trails, surfing, hiking, beach walks, golfing and many more activities at your finger tips.
The Coaster train is within walking distance and will take you(and your bikes) north to Oceanside for a stroll on the pier or south to the Gaslamp District Downtown/Harbor with stops at Cedros Shopping district and Old Town.
