Update on rooms required and lovely service

The room could use an update, i didnt have a celing light but had four table lights instead. The shower also needs updating struggled to gage the temperature and pressure of the shower. However the staff were lovely breakfast was also really nice. Really like that there was a microwave in the lobby and was able to take breakfast away in a doggy bag. Having a complimentary cookie on arrival was also i nice touch

Very unhappy stay

They are under construction and we were not aware. They started banging at 720 am and stopped at 4pm. We could not get any sleep. We wanted to wash clothes we got to the area. The soap dispenser was broken out of order. We had to get coins to operate the machinery only to find that one of the dryers were broken and the other had lint flying everywhere onto our clothes I really think a refund is due I use hotels.com and they told me if I would use their website I would have known about the construction, I think this was one of the worst days in my life. Hopefully, we could do some type of refund for this. Thank you.

Pricey but did the job.

The climate control in the room simply did not work. No matter what we tried to adjust the temperature remained the same. The bathroom door didn't want to close, like the hinges were sprung, or something. There was no documentation in the room about the amenities or the hours of dining, menu, etc. The QR code only took you to a basic home page, not the link that was selected, so amenities were difficult to identify, let alone use. For the price, we were disappointed. The only redeeming quality was the location and it's proximity to the Dad Vail Regatta which was the purpose of our trip.

Suggest that you have security services over night in the parking lot and lighting under the solar panels. My friend who drove us and shared my room had her car stolen. it was gone this morning when we went to place our luggage into it.

The room was excellent, very nice room and the bed was super comfortable and linens above average. Only downside was restaurant service not the friendliest. Luckily there are plenty of other places close by that are awesome.

Doubletree is a trusted hotel brand that has signature service elements. This location advertised complimentary breakfast, however my conference group had to pay. Otherwise, my stay would have been excellent
