The Dali Duran

We had an enjoyable stay. Very clean, great Dali art to draw the eye everywhere. Service was impeccable from Reception to the dining room. Enjoyed the menu at dinner. Parking is a squeeze. Bought tickets to Dali museum at hotel. All highly recommended.

Super convenient location for the Dalí Theatre Museum in Figueres. The parking option was useful, glad we had a tiny car. 50 minute, scenic drive to the worthwhile visit at Dalí's Casa Museo in Portlligat, best Cadaqués. About 50 minute drive also to Gala's Castle in Púbol, also worthwhile. Delicious breakfast.

Very Fine in Figueres

We love the Duran Hotel, and will return one day.. We chose this place due to the history of Salvador Dali with many original artworks hanging on the walls. Sonia gave us a glimpse into the back rooms where Dali and Gala would take their meals. Muchas gracias!!

Good value, good location

The room was spotless, I would have liked extra bedding but therefore stripped the other half of the two singles that were together. Breakfast was excellent - they have a member of staff making fresh orange juice, and two double Nespresso machines for good coffee without queues. There is nothing in the room for making tea and coffee, however. The staff are very nice; my room keys didn’t work even after recharging more than once, which was a little frustrating, but at least there was a lift!! Comfortable bed, basic shower, no conditioner or body lotion.

Best shower on many visits to Europe. Walk-in shower with sliding door, so no wet bathroom floor. Lots of hot water. Forceful weather pressure. GREAT!

Four generations: lovely hotel

Very nice accommodations. Helpful staff at desk. Clean room with nice covers. Got to learn about the Duran family’ association with Salvador’s Dali. Very cool!
