Tämä on viehättävä rantakoti ihastuttavassa Water's Edge -yhteisössä Folly Beachissä, SC, joka on suunniteltu yksilöllisesti historialliseen Charleston-muotiin. We were in town for just a short weekend for my son's law school graduation. The home was comfortable and well appointed. We had a rainy weekend so didn't get to enjoy the outdoors much, but it was lovely nonetheless.

A new favorite in Folly Beach!

We LOVED our stay here. The pictures are accurate and the townhome is perfect for a family. Getting to watch the sunset over the Folly River each night from the top floor balcony was such a treat. Steps from the pool made it so easy to just pop over (and run back if you forgot something). Everything is within walking distance but you are far enough from the busyness of the main strip. Walking to the beach meant we didn't have to fight for parking. We definitely plan to stay here on our next trip to Folly. Can't recommend it enough!

Spring Break

Beautiful View

Normally we like to stay right on the ocean, but I would definitely stay here again. The view was beautiful and town center was a nice little walk. Even the walk to the beach was short and direct. We really enjoyed our time, the beds we’re comfortable and the house was well laid out.

Furniture needs to be updated and amenities were very limited for the price of the VRBO. Cleaning fee was overpriced as we did much of the cleaning for check out. Very loud neighbors in the unit attached during our stay.

Property was exactly as listed and within walking distance to pool on-site as well as the main part of the island with restaurants and shopping nearby. We stayed with our 7-year old boys and it was great for families.

Quiet condo but close to it all

We enjoyed our stay at this property in Folly Beach. It's a 10-minute walk to the public beach, and you are between 5 and 10-15 minutes (max) to the restaurants, shops, churches and activities in town, but this property is in a residential neighborhood so you don't get any of the noise. This particular condo is at the end of the row, so there is no one next to you on one side. It's also very close to the community pool, which the kids loved. All in all, a great location! There were plenty of towels, linens were good, and it was very clean. The bunk beds are very squeaky, which may bother kids who are sensitive sleepers. The property managers were very responsive to anything we needed, and reached out to check on us after our first day (I didn't reply to that message since we were doing great and didn't need anything). One note on the communication: when booking, we were requested to use a different app called "Happy Stays." It was a bit confusing at first since we could communicate via Happy Stays, VRBO or email. In the end, all the communication was via email (with VRBO messaging as a backup). If you book, just make sure you know what communication method will work best for you and square that up ahead of time. All in all, really easy to book, great location, wonderful stay.

First time at Folly

Great location to walk to the beach or the main street. It was also easy to reach the local grocery store. Our neighbors were great and it was a very quiet and family friendly community. The pool also was never crowded.

Fabulous Find - Folly Kai

Ideally located in a quiet setting with tranquil views of Folly Creek. The Atlantic Ocean, restaurants, boutiques & a playground were only .4 miles away. Our family enjoyed walking to them thru neighborhoods of charming coastal homes. Folly Kai were amply & comfortably furnished; the kitchen was well stocked for preparing & serving various types of meals The amenities seemed to be endless with all the TVs, movies, video games, board games & toys for various age levels. One week seemed too short to take advantage of all that it has to offer!

Great place!

Our family loved our short getaway at Folly. The location of this townhouse was perfect for us - a 5 minute walk to restaurants and coffee and a 10 minute easy stroll to the beach. The house had everything we needed and we really enjoyed spending sunny mornings and nice evenings outside on the porches. My only complaint is the condition of the living room furniture and the master bath. Very lived in but not well maintained. I totally appreciate that a rental property will have some wear and tear but the couches had so many stains and just felt dirty that we didn’t use them. But that is an easy fix and we didn’t come to the beach to watch TV so I would still recommend staying here. The property management was easy to work with and check-in/out was super easy. We’ll definitely stay here again, preferably when the furniture is replaced!
