The property is nice with great location to beach , pools,,bars, restaurants, and plenty of shopping. Make sure you bring a lot of money. Everything here cost a lot. 2 frozen drinks in solo cups. $48. Also, 18% gratuity on everything you buy. Regardless if the service qas worth it. Check in is at 4p. Our room wasn't ready until 7:04p. We got a free bar drink voucher a $30 value it didnt cover our 2 drinks completely so we paid the difference. $38. We asked 3x to speak to the manager. No one ever called. Will not stay here again. Accommodations are great, but the operation is poorly ran. Its to bad.

The hotel was nice but lacked many things to make us want to return or call it a great stay. We had the breakfast buffet, included, and that was actually the best part. Great selection of good food & friendly service. The beach was nice but quite a hike from our room. The pool was very small & crowded so we opted for the beach. Hotel stay included a $43 daily resort fee (parking another $55 per day). Not sure what resort fee covers because we were told we had to move chairs or pay extra for the umbrella. We had our own umbrella but were told we had to go to the public beach to use it. We then asked if we were going to pay for umbrella if we could get it up front so we could watch our kids in the ocean and again told no, that couldn’t be done. Beach policies aren’t family friendly. The room was called a junior suite, adjoining rooms but it was just a king bed with a pull out sofa bed so an average hotel room. It had 2 additional chairs, not very comfortable & not even a small table to put a drink on. Lastly, hotel is cashless. Not even front desk can break bills - this makes it impossible to tip. I’m old fashioned, I still prefer to tip with cash while personally thanking someone for their service.

Stayed 3 nights for my 37th birthday. Did the mermaid show which was highlight. Room smelled like wet dog and my lock on my door battery died so couldn’t get in, then it went again 3 hours later. Staff fixed it in decent time just awkward to witness this sloppy tech and wet dog smell through out the B tower. They charge a resort fee and had no towels or clean first 2 nights had to bother them to please clean our room after 2 days. Constant walks to lobby (far away) for lockouts and towels. At the end they hit me for $55 plus tax a day for valet of my truck as I am a VIP guest thought that was tacky. $200 for valet and I never left resort as we live 2 hours away and go on Mini trips all the time. After doing the math it wasn’t a good deal for the money and would just go to a higher end property without kids everywhere and hallways always smelling like weed.

Close to the beach but wouldn’t stay here again.

Room was smelly and not super clean. Balcony door did not lock and anyone could’ve accessed our balcony on the second floor with a roof right outside. Long lines at check in and Valet which was $55 a night. Location is close to the beach but that is probably the only upside of staying here.

Think it was the last time visiting this hotel

Since we arrived we had trouble with the Valet, they said we could not have our stock Silverado parked because one of the employees had crashed one because they couldn’t drive big cars…. To find parking elsewhere!! What?? I booked the junior suite with ocean view that brought the sofa bed but when we entered the room, just two chairs near the window and the somewhat comfortable king bed. I notified the staff that we had the wrong room and they stated that was the only room available…. ?? Terrible The pool deck is in reconstruction so all you hear is the nails and hammers going while trying to enjoy the sun and drinks… they are in the 2nd week of 7 weeks of completion. Also, since all the pool chairs are jammed together my wife hit her knee into one chair and was walking around with a bump since the corner metal stabbed her. We notified staff but all that was said was sorry. The room smelled like sewage and we had to deal with it…. The staff were not helpful.

Clean and directly on the beach. They hosted a "flock fest" which took over the amentities for the hotel guests. I would have liked to been compensated for that (resort fee waved for example) considering we could not use the pool and resort amentities freely without being conflicted with this party. Otherwise, a great property for the price.

The private beachfront is one of the best parts of the resort, stretching out as much of the tail end of Fort Lauderdale as possible before going into Hollywood, FL. But it feels like the resort itself needs more renovations than just the lobby & the Salty Siren pool deck. As in the exterior of at least two buildings, the elevators, the floor of the Clipper Pool, and the volleyball courts. My room upgrade to the Marina building was pretty nice, but the K-Cup Coffee maker and the chair for the table below the TV both being broken wasn't. And when I could have had both addressed via replacements, I couldn't tell whether the phone for room service next to my bed was working or not. That too should be worked on. I definitely didn't like how during my stay, the Florida Sports Bar's restaurant for the morning hours was only limited to a breakfast buffet, nor that Clipper Express as I checked out closed up before 20 minutes before noon when I was ready with another card to purchase a beverage. Not cool. At all. All these listed issues aside, I still feel like I could come back. Because the private beachfront, and how on point beach services were with the chairs makes it worth it. But before I consider doing this resort again, there has to be more enhancements & renovations than just the Pool Deck and it has to happen before next Spring & Summer and I hope that all gets across as into next year goes along. That would go a ways in making it better with vacationing there.
