Bucket List Adventure - McDonald Observatory!

Lovely home and accomodations. Sid and Elena were wonderful hosts and very informative about the area. We stayed to visit the parks and McDonald Observatory. It was very close driving to and from the McDonald Observatory. The area rolls up the sidewalk pretty early. Make sure you bring food, snacks, beverages for any planned activities. There is a grocery store and a market, a few restaurants, but some only open certain days and times.

The room was excellent. The air conditioning was very good. It is definitely a clean, well maintained place. The staff were excellent and the breakfasts were delicious. I am definitely going back there.

A quiet, peaceful setting on the outskirts of town. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast which was included, and at an appropriate time in the morning. I highly recommend staying here while exploring Fort Davis.
