It’s a clean and quiet place that’s walking distance to anywhere you would want to go in Galway City Center. I loved that it’s close to places but tucked away just enough from the businesses of the city. The Victoria would be my only choice for future visits.

Nice hotel - the room that we received was probably the worse one on our trip. Very small, looking at the floor map, the smallest available. If you are claustrophobic, this is not for you. For two nights, it was ok. Staff was very friendly and check-in was smooth. If you drive, there is no on site parking and you have to park in one of the parking garages about 2-3 blocks away. Don’t forget to get your rebate parking slip when you leave which you can apply to your parking cost. Location is great and you can walk to everything, including the ferry if you are going over to the Aran Islands.

We stayed 2 nights. The first night was miserable because the room had no ventilation and the sun heated the room up. They were able to move us to a different room the second night which alleviated the problem.

Property is around the corner from train station making and just a block from all the shops and restaurants. Very convenient location. Staff wasn’t super friendly, breakfast on site was not good and rooms do not have AC. It was cool outside so having the window open was helpful. They did offer a couple of small fans which helped too but I imagine in warmer months it could get quite hot and stuffy in the rooms. Location was the best feature of the property!

Another lovely, older hotel. We found the sheets and towels at every hotel very soft and comfortable. The hotel provided parking up a hill. The elevator required two different lifts. The staff was very helpful. The hotel was with in a short walk of shopping, live music and many restaurants.

The property was clean and in the perfect location. Only complaint was that the rooms were very hot. A fan was provided but the short cord did not allow it to be moved in front of the window to let cool air in.
