We did not care for our stay. The mattresses are old and uncomfortable. There is no service if you need something. You can hear everything from upstairs.

Bruce has been working the front desk for many years and is always courteous. Ive stayed here many times when in Sonoma and it is perfect. The location, hot tub, saloon are all perfect. Add in the wooded environment and you have a customer for life.

Quaint, Quiet Oasis in Glen Ellen

Lena was so helpful when I had to cancel due to jury duty but then was able to reschedule. Loved getting to meet her. The location is fabulous and it is quiet. A few minor things in room needed to be fixed (bathroom sconces, door on armoire, safe). Amenities were sufficient and loved proximity to market, patisserie, restaurants, parks. Pillows were too thick for our liking but understand not everyone likes flat pillows like us. I noticed other rooms had a chest of drawers, ours did not which I would have liked but not a big issue being there just a few days. There was some dust in high and low spots and a few hairs in bathroom but overall place is clean, bright, quiet, reasonably priced! Staff was welcoming.

The lodge was not pet-friendly. I would stay more often if it was. It is near JACK LONDON State park and a great place to walk with a dog. The room was big and clean. The location is central to the parks and great restaurants and stores. Loved the relaxing pace of the town. Walk everywhere!

I saw another room and our room was less than the other room. We had 2 random chairs, one had an awful stain on it. I had to put a towel on it to sit there. The ceiling fan light was out and the vanity had a light that was out. Otherwise, we had a nice stay. Loved the restaurant, pub and pool area.

We were a bit disappointed when we arrived. The pictures on the website give the appearance that it’s much nicer and for the price of $350 a night we expected much more. It’s an older motel and is in need of updating. The one thing I will say was that the bed and bedding were very comfortable.

First time stay. Would happily return.

We enjoyed our stay and would happily return. The location was excellent -- near an exceptional market and fabulous bakery. The mini-frudge in the room kept our bottled green tea chilled. We did not do much more than sleep and bathe (huge upscale bathroom) at the Lodge. We explored both town and the redwoids and coast. All in all a great few days.

This little gem is unassuming on the outside, but the rooms are beautiful and modern. We walked to restaurants both nights for dinner. The only downside is the road is quite dangerous to walk on where there are no sidewalks.
