Good cheap stop in between medical appointments for the week. Lots of construction which can get loud very early but being further in the corner wasn’t as loud like the cars/bikes screaming up the road. Some very strict rules to follow but its easy if your only staying mostly at nights. A negative is the bright lights that light up outside the top rooms which i feel is for safety but leaving our room fully lit up and harder to sleep which was needed after surgery. The room itself had few minor issues like a leaking shower head, basically no cutlery with only 1 fork to share with 2 people and dangerous clothesline in the shower which couldn’t support the weight of anything and become slip hazard if left wound out. overall will return even with these Minor issues.

Questionable ethics. Asked me to email them copies of licence and credit card for a late check- in after I had paid for the room. This request was from a mobile phone number not listed as a business number on the website. When I denied this, they refused to refund my stay. It wasn’t until after 9pm on the check-in date that they texted me with an alternative late check-in option (I had already found alternative accommodation) and used this as an excuse not to refund.

The admin staff didn’t seem to know what they were doing, trying to communicate was hard. There was no curtains in the room and they had all the lights outside on all night so it was like daylight in the room trying to sleep, was terrible. Mattress was so uncomfortable; floor would have been more comfortable. Every day my room smelt of smokes, others were very noisy and no one knew how to park. Won’t be staying there again

Good location in Mermaid beach. Not a few minutes walk from the beach which is a minus. Pretty good accomodation and clean. Stuff in the reception were nice but didn't speak good English and couldn't help us a lot , but overall experience was good, good location, convenient parking and clean room with all the needs.
