Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. For a hotel that presents itself as a premium property in Guadalajara, the level of service fell well below expectations. The staff were neither welcoming nor accommodating. I paid for a coffee on the rooftop and was not given my change (approximately USD $20). When I raised the issue, I was asked, “Oh, you wanted your change back?”—a response that felt inappropriate and unprofessional. Additionally, my room key cards failed one evening. When I reported the issue, the staff were difficult to deal with, rude, and dismissive. I requested a bottle of water as a courtesy given the inconvenience, but instead was instructed to go to a store and purchase one myself. This combination of poor service, lack of accountability, and unhelpful staff made the stay extremely unpleasant and not reflective of a premium hotel experience.

Checking in for three rooms turned out to be a hassle. The receptionist was adamant that he needed to wait for two more people to arrive, even though I repeatedly explained that they were part of our group. It seemed like a straightforward situation, but the language barrier got in the way. I've never had this issue at other hotels, where they've always been able to accommodate us under one reservation. After a long day of traveling, this experience was the last thing I needed.
