It was the last room available, it was small and the shower was hard to get un and out of that was the only bad point ,the hotel and staff were great,and the food was excellent.

We have just got home from a lovely two night stay at The Bridge Inn. From the moment we arrived at the hotel we were given a warm welcome. The room that we booked was a cosy double. It was everything we expected. It was small but adequate for our stay. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There were plenty of complimentary tea, coffee , hot chocolate and biscuits in the room and a good size TV. The bathroom was also small but again adequate for a short stay. The toiletries were of high spec and the towels were large and soft. The food in the hotel was delicious and of high quality. The restaurant was always busy, which is always a good sign. I can honestly say that the breakfast was the nicest we'd ever had in a hotel. There was a great choice on both the restaurant menu and the breakfast menu. Thd hotel is right in the heart of Holmfirth so everything is on your doorstep. I would just like to say a special mention about Tate who was always attentive and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. All staff were brilliant though. We will definitely return. Thanks for a wonderful stay.. arrived at the hotel

The old bridge hotel is a great place to stay, so central to everything in holmfirth. The evening meal and breakfast were really nice. Disappointed in the upstairs snd bedrooms, very dated and looking old and sad 😔

This was our 7th visit to The Old Bridge in Holmfirth. The staff are exceptional, all of them are extremely helpful, polite and professional, thank you all of you. Lovely breakfast as always. We will be rebooking for our annual January visit in 2026. We will always recommend you to anyone wishing to visit Holmfirth!!! 🙏🙏

Overnight stay

Stayed overnight on NYD. Ellie on check in was nice and friendly parking permit was given and check Inn was allowed at 130pm which was great as it was raining all day. Room was ok basic but clean nice comfy bed. We ate in the restaurant and it was ok nothing special. Breakfast was lovely friendly staff choice was plentiful just no poached eggs or fried due to kitchen issues.
