From checking in to checking out everyone at Ohia was friendly, informative and very helpful. A lot of people checked in and Joshua was excellent at booking our PCC and Sites and Bites tour. The location is actually where you to be in the center of it all ans just two small streets away from Waikiki beach. I would stay there again!

You get what you pay for

Front desk complained about booking with “third party” in response to our questions. Then put us in a room where you had to exit the hallway to outside (the only room out there ) and said that it was away from others like that was a nice thing. I can only assume why we were sent out there, as I grew up in Hawaii and know some things. I am afraid of heights so this was not a good thing for me. The room was as clean as and old room could be. Room definitely shows its age along with the furnishing. But if you need a cheap room, it fits the bill. It was late and we worked hard all day doing yard work and home repairs so going somewhere else was not a thing. (It was for one night) Nice things about it, a cute bar downstairs , nice toiletries provided, and a little gift bag of drinks and chips given, located near heart of waikiki. So if you are on a budget, just remember you get what you pay for and maybe a nice treat.

The staff was amazing and very informative. The hotel is older but clean. They keep the pool very clean. It is convenient for shopping and dinning. Walking distance to most activities. The guys in valet service were very helpful and polite. I would definitely stay at Ohia again and would highly recommend.

The Ohia is right where you want to be. It's an older building however it's very, very clean. Our room didn't have a microwave though. Seriously it was the only thing that we missed. Parking is pricey but available. Staff is awesome!
