A Great Place to Stay

Nice location

The best feature is easy access to the subway. I also liked the breakfast, but it could start earlier. The room was clean and cozy, and the shower is outstanding. Front desk provided very good service.

We stayed 1 night at this hotel before catching a flight the next morning. Pros: - Very close to a metro station - Friendly & helpful staff - Clean Cons: - NOISY. The hotel is on a busy main road, and the "soundproofing" is not effective. There was constant traffic, horns, and sirens. Luckily we travel with a white noise machine, and were able to get a decent night's sleep. - The room was quite warm. The air conditioning feature of the heat pump did not work since overall system was set to heat in mid-March. The fan function also blew warm air into the room. We opened the balcony door to cool off, but had to close it for sleeping due to the street noise. - The room was much smaller than what it looked like in the photos. The fridge door could only open partway as it was blocked by the bed. - Breakfast seemed to start later, at 7:30am. (Admittedly, we stayed at aparthotels throughout our visit to Portugal so I am not sure what the typical hotel breakfast times in the country are. Based on experience from North American hotels, breakfast usually started around 6am.) We had a mid-morning flight, and needed to leave the hotel before 7:30 to ensure enough time to get through security and passport control at the airport. Therefore we were not able to have the breakfast that so many guests had positively reviewed. This is not to blame the hotel for the timing, but rather to make travellers with similar flights aware of the considerations.

The area is not quite quiet and the room is not soundproof either. Other than that, it's nice and the breakfast is wonderful too. All staffs are nice and excellent! So far we had a nice stay with 4 nights. Thank you.

Would stay there again

We stayed there for only a weekend, after our cruise. The hotel is in a very convenient location, close to the cruise port and close to the airport. It is also right next to a metro station, in a street with supermarkets, bakeries and shops. The room was very comfortable, clean, good sized. The breakfast was really good. And the staff was great, really helpful and attentive, they even prepared a breakfast box for us on our last day, because we had to leave at 6am for the airport.

It’s located on a busy street in a busy neighborhood but never felt unsafe. once inside it’s very clean, staff extremely corteous. The highlight was the breakfast, what a pleasant surprise!

The staff here is AMAZING! Beatriz, Susana & Joana were so friendly and helpful. Always had smiles on their faces and ALWAYS willing to help. The greatest Hotel Staff I have seen in a long time. The hotel was very clean and looks like it has been updated. The lobby was a great place to hang out and relax with our friends. We never felt like we were a bother to anyone. They have a nice outside area with a few tables out front so you can sit out and watch the people walk by. I would definitely rate this a 5 out of 5 and would definitely stay here again.
