The property charged me for my stay even though I had paid Expedia when I booked. I have been unable to get ahold of the property (I spent 25 minutes on hold before I had to hang up), and I’ve spent at least 30 minutes in a chat with Expedia. I’m still waiting for someone to refund me for one of the charges. I was charged twice for one night stay. That is unacceptable. If there was a problem between the hotel and Expedia, they should work it out. However, this hotel chose to charge me (when they took my card, they stated it would just be for incidentals) rather than deal with Expedia. Pretty terrible customer service by the hotel.

The system that you guys have created, made the reservation for a week later than it was needed. I emailed three times to say what the mistake was but like most modern-day companies you don’t have any ability to talk to a human and make things right. Please do not charge my card for something that did not happen. Thank you.

Staff simply was not friendly or really cared to address needs or questions. Very surprising- simple requests were ignored. One example- phone didn’t work when I arrived- asked to get fixed- nothing. The lady who checked me in just needs some customer service training. Also parking was sparse and part of hotel was in bad need of cleanup and safety improvements.

Terrible hotel conditions

The traveled with 5 people, reserved a room with two double beds and when we checked in they only had a king bed and had no other rooms available because they overbooked themselves. We had just driven 6 hours in pouring rain so we were highly disappointed to hear this at 11pm when we arrived. When we entered the room, there was visible water damage and unsafe living conditions and the room was 86 degrees an musty. There was also a de-humidifier outside of the door proving they were trying to fix the problem. We switched rooms and were put in the last room next to a complete renovation of multiple rooms so there was loud music from construction workers at 7am, banging, dust and completely inappropriate conditions. We also were not aware the some of the amenities, like the workout room would be unavailable because there was leaking from the ceiling. There were also dehumidifiers everywhere in the hotel and obvious water damage in the rooms making the living conditions hazardous. The hotel moved us to a third room on our next day but again we only had one king bed and a pull out couch so my daughter had to sleep on the floor/. The hotel was unable to compensate us and said we had to bring it up with you all. We would appreciate a refund because this was a terrible weekend. I usually book through hotels.com but if it’s going to be a hassle to resolve this situation, I will not be booking in this way in the future

Beautiful hotel. We were told the hot tub wasn’t working but when we got there it was. Loved the pool and hot tub. The hot breakfast everyday was amazing (variety of bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, eggs, French toast changing daily)

Greatly disappointed of this stay.

Stayed for surgery the next day. Asked for a room by the elevator due to two handicap members. Got suite 202. It was way at the other end of the elevator. The room had a dishwasher. it was marked clean dishes. My Dad got a glass out of there and used it. After I went to grab a glass, and the silverware and pans in there had hard dried food on them. Very disturbing . The phones in the room were nonfunctional as well. Terrible situation with 2 handicapped family members. Greatly disappointed of this stay.

We liked the helpful friendly staff and how nice the remodel was and the cleanliness of the hotel. The only negative is I feel the site was misleading. Per the pictures we thought we were getting a balcony room but got a regular room but the cleanliness and staff made the stay worth it

Fine stay. But we reserved a room with two queen beds and got two doubles, which is the difference between a good nights sleep while sharing a bed and a terrible nights. Wish we would have gotten what we reserved.

Was in Carmel for eye surgery and needed some place nearby to stay as I had next day follow up visit. Homewood checked off all the boxes for my stay. Coming back early April for another surgery and this WILL be our hotel of choice. Big thumbs up!!
