Overpriced and Poorly Cleaned

The room I stayed in was extremely dirty and disappointing. There was visible dust and grime on many surfaces, the bathroom was not properly cleaned, and the overall condition of the room made me feel very uncomfortable. Considering I paid over $300 per night, I expected a much higher standard of cleanliness — but it was truly disappointing. What made it even worse was that no refund was offered despite the poor condition, which added to my frustration. This experience definitely had a negative impact on my trip.

Perfect for what we needed. The woman at the front desk who was ALSO running around the dining area during breakfast didn’t miss a neat. I wish I remembered her name. She surely took so crap but with all the grace in the world. Definitely need more staff. Hall was dark and a bit musty, sink water smelled of sulfur when turned on, stained “dust ruffles” on one of the beds.

Room not as nice as photos suggest

I checked in, went to the room, found it to be in poor condition, and went back to the counter and requested a refund from the Best Western Ithaca receptionist. She said she would need to get permission. She went in the back and spoke with someone for a few minutes, then came back and said “You’re all set.” I do not want to pay for the stay since I did not stay there.

As always, had an excellent stay here. Very convenient if you are visiting Cornell University or the amazing state parks nearby. Breakfast was good - waffles, eggs, sausages, bagels, fresh fruits etc. even our fur baby loved it here. Highly recommend this hotel.

The room smells like dogs have been sleeping in the room. I honestly am so stuffed up with the smells. The shower has mold stains all over it. I complained to the staff and they didn’t care. It appears the some of the cleaning staff live at the hotel as well. Noisy on occasion as they are having a great time partying and drinking in the parking lot. Definitely doesn’t feel safe. Wanted to spend a couple days here but we’re moving on in the morning. Definitely not worth the money.
