Our stay was wonderful. Candace had a room ready early. She made check in quick and easy. Hospitality immediately upon our arrival. Candace shared discount information for a local eatery and welcomed our grandchildren like family. The holiday decorations were festive and fun. We had a lovely Christmas visit although the weather was frightful. Thank you.

Heating in room was ridiculous. We left for about 2.5 hours early evening and upon returning the temp was °79 in the room. Wall thermostats were supposed to control the old heater/AC units. The old unit controls were still operational and would override the the wall controls. The hotel was informed but acted indifferent to the issue. We either sweat or froze. Zero happy medium.

It was nice stay until the elevator broke down on the first of a three day visit. My husband is going through chemo, I'm disabled and we travel with our dogs, so having to go up and down the stairs, numerous times day and night, made it a very hard experience on us. We asked to be moved to a first floor room and were told that they would make note of it but they were fully booked. When checking out, we asked for a small concession for the lack of a working elevator (just a percentage, not a free night or anything drastic) and were told no. I understand the elevator breaking down is not necessarily within their control but offering a small appeasement or even to fulfill the request to move to a different floor are both very easy and perfectly reasonable customer service concessions.

Got the jacuzzi room and it was very relaxing to be able to take turns using it. A bit small for two to enjoy it together, unless they’re shorter people. I’m 6’2” and 260 lbs, so I take up almost all of the space. Anyway, the wife loved the room and was thrilled that her knee felt so much better afterwards, since she had a knee scope 4 months ago. Room was impeccably clean. I even brought a black light to scan the room for yuck and there was literally nothing anyone that looked bad.
