Hotel was nice and staff was friendly. Room was very clean. Shuttle to the airport was easy to set up and instructions were clear. However, getting back to the hotel was more difficult because we were not provided a number to call once we landed. We called the hotel’s front desk and they gave us the number of the shuttle driver. We called 3x and nobody answered. We called the hotel back and the receptionist said she would get in touch with the driver for us. We ended up waiting about 30 minutes for the shuttle back to the hotel which wasn’t bad, but I feel if a number for the shuttle was provided, this process would have been easier.

The overall hotel is pleasant. Many rooms surround the pool which is loud and impossible to go to sleep until the pool closes for the night. Making this particular stay less than enjoyable.

Slightly Disappointing

I was surprised that the conditon of this Hilton Express hotel was not what I was expecting. It looked like an older hotel that had been refurbished at some point. My refrigerator had been turned off so I had to remove the melted water in the freezer and turn the unit back on so I could use it. The bedside clock did not work. The hand soap and lotion holder in the bathroom almost came off the wall when I tried to use it. The water in the shower came out at half pressure and the tub was quite slippery. The most disappointing was the pool. The bottom of the main pool looked like it hadn't been cleaned in awhile. I don’t know if it contained salt or chlorine, although I did not smell any chlorine. I did use the sauna and that was OK. Other than that, the room was clean, the mattress was comfortable and the breakfast was good. I even used the excercise room, which I thought was well appointed. There was coffee and tea in my room and a Keurig coffee machine. There were also many places to plug in my devices. The hotel is close to the airport and has a shuttle. All in all, I would still recommend it, but my rating would not be 5 stars.

The room we received upon arrival was completely different from what was shown in the listing. The assigned room was significantly smaller, in worse condition, and lacked the promised amenities, including the additional living area. The cleanliness was unacceptable—we found human hairs and nails behind the bed, right under the mattress. When we contacted the front desk to request the accommodation we had originally booked, we were denied and told with attitude that it was “our fault for booking through Expedia” and that nothing could be done. Horrendous

Hotel was clean, check in was easy. Room was nice. We had a huge problem using the pool and hot tub. It was taken over by kids, no adult supervision. These kids were mostly under the age of 7. A staff came through multiple times and despite posted rules about no one under of 12 without supervision, never said anything to any adult or child in the pool area. It ruined the getaway for our family.

Honestly I wasn’t expecting much at such a low price; everything far exceeded my expectations. The staff were very friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast had a large selection (I don’t think I had any hot food but the pastries, cereal, yogurt and coffee was fantastic). Thanks for a relaxing stay!
