I loved every minute at Maui Kai. Being on the beach with the crashing sound of the waves, when I woke up and before going to bed was magical.I appreciated the immediate assistance from my condo owners when I reached out.My location, the Bose speaker to play music, the views....all of it were what I needed.I would stay here again in a minute!!!Thank you.

40th Anniversary stay

This was our Third time staying in this Condo. We were celebrating our 40th Anniversary. We loved the Maui experience of coming earlier in the year this time to view the Whales. What an amazing thing to see, and from our lanai at times as well ! Spectacular !!This Condo provides a safe place to stay and close to so many things to do. We highly recommend : )

Best ever owner to work with!

This is a beautiful unit with one of best ever owners we’ve rented from. Unit is fully stocked and when we had a small problem at checkin the owner immediately resolved the problem. Great owner and a wonderful place to watch whales from!

Beautiful place!!

We had a wonderful trip even with an interruption and needed to stay on Maui longer! Upscale everything is so nice and spices there just above the stove! Miss those waves crashing each night! Excellent communication-cute, clean and equipped with everything you need! Conveniently located and the food trucks were an added bonus. The Kapalua Coastal trail’s starting point is right up the street from the condo!

Maui get-away

Beautiful location for this cozy studio condo overlooking the ocean. The bed was wonderfully comfortable and everything we needed was there. David and Cathy left a lovely welcome basket. We appreciated the quiet pool area. We discovered the snorkeling out in front of the building was fabulous after heading about 100 yards to the left for easy access into the water. The grocery store, shops, and restaurants are all in easy walking distance. Just a perfect, relaxing week! We would definitely come back

Honeymoon Happiness

We were keen on not paying any hidden fees. Our travel agent could not find a single hotel that disclosed all their fees upfront. We decided to look at condos through VRBO with an ocean view. We were so happy to find Maui Kai Condos in Kaanapali. Upon seeing the photos and reading the reviews for Condo #306, we made our reservation. Our ocean view was expansive, right outside our lanai. If you stood in our lanai, it looked like we were on a cruise ship without the movement of the waves. It was incredible to hear the waves. Beaches to our right and left. The furniture and decor were beautiful, think Ralph Lauren meets Tommy Bahama. The king bed was comfortable and not hot The bedding was also nice, with extra pillows and blankets. We received a generous welcome basket filled with Maui treats. We loved having a full kitchen with all the amenities to prepare our coffee and breakfast. Nice bathroom with beautiful tile shower, clean with extra towels and shampoo, and conditioner. Great Elfa closet with hanging and drawers. We appreciated having boogie boards, towels, ice chest, yoga mat, and beach chairs in the closet The swimming pool and hot tub were never crowded or loud. And FREE, ample parking. Easy walk to Dukes, Bad Ass Coffee, Time grocery store, and the Farmer's Market for amazing Acai bowls. And, if you are vegetarian, check out Moku Roots, a 15-minute drive from Laina. For a more intimate stay in Maui, we highly recommend it! Maholo!

Perfect

Maui is the perfect place and Maui Kai 306 is the ideal place to stay while you enjoy all that Maui has to offer. This was our 5th visit and the whole vacation would have been worth it just for the show we got from the lanai alone.The humpback whales were incredible this year with dozens of full breaches right in front of the condo. We also got to see a monk seal 2 days and turtles every day and on our last day a school of spinner dolphins went by. David and Cathy are gracious hosts and all of the booking and details are handled very efficiently. Maui Kai 306 is a beautiful condo stocked with everything you could ever think of to provide the perfect home away from home.The king bed is very comfortable and the ocean waves will help put you to sleep every night. From a walk down the boardwalk to black rock or on Kaanapali beach or over to Duke’s for a bite or a drink or the endless shopping in Lahaina or sightseeing opportunities that never end or just simply relaxing on your own lanai watching the beautiful sunset you won’t find a better place for a perfect vacation.
