We had an issue with the air conditioner and the condensation, it soaked everything that was left on the floor. We talked to the front desk and it was like we were an inconvenience to them. They never asked once if anything got ruined. We had a pair of headphones in one of the bags and they no longer work. They has maintenance come and clean the air conditioner but the next night my nephew got up in the middle of the night and it was all wet again. Luckily he caught himself. Again, nothing from management. Considering the amount that was spent to stay there we would have had more hospitality or some kind of compensation for all the trouble we went through on having the floor wet twice and a set of headphones that no longer useful. This was not our first time in the Keys but we won't be staying at the Pier house again.

Maybe good for key west but not for anywhere else

There was no view, just a parking lot. The room a/c sounded like a car without a muffler and we asked for relief without tesponse.

Didn't know they charge 40 a day to park, pop corn on the floor inside elevator for 3 days, outside needs to be clean around main entrance, the door slams. Very loud, to top it off. The bar on main level has pictures of ( Topless women) behind the bar. Couldn't not swim at the beach. Tons of seaweed, was there for a week. They never did anything about it! Don't get me wrong it was a very nice place. I wouldn't stay there again. Sad but true.

Terrible experience. Hotel is rusty and service is terrible. Old, expensive and definitely not worth the money. There are many other better options in Key West.

This is the second time we have stayed at the Pier House Resort. The location is perfect right on Duval Street but at the end so it is private and quiet. They have their own private beach which is also wonderful. Our favorite thing is the restaurant though. The food is delicious and you can eat inside or outside looking at the bay. It’s beautiful!
