Very nice location. We had a third floor room in the tower which had a private balcony with an ocean view. A short walk over the dune to a private beach. Room was very clean and comfortable. Morning breakfast was typical continental breakfast, nothing special but adequate. Everything was fresh with a few options. Plenty of parking and close to shopping and restaurants. Great view of an angry ocean with a storm off the coast.

Classic OBX Beach Hotel

Great little old-school beach hotel. Sure, it's on the older side, but that's kind of what makes the Outer Banks cool. It's got all the amenities you could ask for from a larger chain resort, the service is great, & best of all.... it's right on the beach! Very cozy. Indoor/outdoor pools. Clean & the breakfast was great with different options each morning. Would def stay again.

We would definitely stay here again, it was clean, nice decor, our view of the ocean was the best, and breakfast was great. Didn't give it a 5 because main elevator areas could have been cleaner and the glass door on our floor was dirty, but that's not a big deal. Oh, the beds were very comfortable!

Excellent stay, reasonable/affordable price, clean, breakfast and cleaning staff on point, the only thing we have a complaint about is the beach shower… it must be on a timer, not possible to clean off sand on items along with feet in time before it shuts off for a few minutes. Not a deal breaker. Highly recommend and would stay again.

The floors were sandy and shower curtain was moldy. The bathrooms were very small and I saw a roach as I was leaving. It was okay though. The kids had a good time.
