a new rather modern structure..this is usually a good sign...motels do not age well. Upkeep is usually at a minimum. This was a new clean unit.

This place was a disappointment for several reasons. They offered online, early check-in yet when we arrived they had no record of the early check-in that I had already completed. The early check-in promoted the benefit of just arriving and grabbing your keys and heading to the room. That didn't happen. Instead we spent about 15 minutes at the front desk going over the same information that I had completed the previous day. None of the TV's in the entire hotel were working for the first 24 hours of our 2-night stay. We were told that after we had checked in. Also at check-in we were asked about housekeeping. I adamantly said yes that we wanted housekeeping. However, after a long day out we returned to 1. Neither of our room keys were working which meant a trip back down to the front desk to have them re-keyed. 2. With our newly re-keyed keys in hand and entering our room after a long day out, we found that housekeeping had none been done even though we had asked for it previously the night before. By now housekeeping had gone for the day. I can clean house, make beds and empty trash at home. When traveling, I am paying for these items in the hotel price and enjoying a small vacation from household duties. I will not return to this property again.
