Front desk person Zak was great, solved issues with the key cards not working, third set worked. Housekeeping failed to bring us towels the second day, Zak handled the issue. Bathroom vent was dirty, someone else’s hairs on the floor and the bathroom door, shower was grungy/ dirty as if it needed a major deep cleaning a year ago. Shower had black mold on the seams as well as the mounting points for the inside handle. Each night was noisy with car alarms, guests dogs barking and small groups of people talking/ arguing in the parking lot throughout the night. Felt like we stumbled upon the Mexican drug cartels hideout. We were constantly stared down, watched and even followed as if they were trying to figure out if we were ICE. Positive note, Black Bear Diner is next door, great place to eat.

The staff was very nice. Motel 6 is the best for pet friendliness. However, for a motel, the room was a very far walk from the car carrying stuff. The room smelled smokey and the table had crumbs all over it. The motel is apparently serving as housing for some immigrants or workers, so there were people hanging out in various spots outside and stuff outside the rooms. Some other customers were pretty low rent - heard yelling and cursing when they opened their doors. This motel is quite a ways from 97, too. It was not the worst I've stayed in by any means but I'll avoid it in future.

I recently made a reservation for a non-smoking room with a refrigerator and microwave. However, when I arrived, I was informed that my reserved room was not available. Instead, the only option was a smoking room that smell bad, which I had to accept because no other rooms were available.

Everything was fine except for the toilet!! It was the size built for a kindergartener! I messed up my knees and right shoulder trying to get up off of it.
Very low toilet with nothing to hold onto to get up off of it. I injured my right shoulder and my knees in doing so!

Never checked the room for beds or towels. No shampoo. Out of toilet paper in room.. when we leave the room the air conditioning turned off. Key to room failed to open the room 3 times. Employees were rude and when the room key would not work they wanted us to come to the office to get a new key from the second floor on the other side of the building at 10 pm. We tried to check in early because of our long journey and were told no rooms were cleaned yet (at 1:30pm) and when we came back at three pm. We were told there were no rooms available and to come back in an hour and a half.

Zak the clerk when we checked in was excellent. But when we got to room we found black hairs on the sheets and blankets and no toilet paper. Zak brought new sheets and towels and remade the bed he was embarrassed but apologetic. when we wiped up floor from spilled water with the a towel, the towel was black with dirt and sticky. The entire floor was sticky. We found pink nail clipping on floor. The bathroom door had black finger prints. The wall under sink very dirty. The bed springs poked and creaked all night. We were room 108. Even though the room was not cleaned, but we appreciate that the outdoor lighting was nice and bright. Also, the front desk person Zak was great.

Immediately upon walking into the room, the floors were dirty. The room had an odor to it, as if it had been smoked in heavily. The bed was comfortable and the shower had great water pressure. The staff was very nice and very courteous. I didn't mention the floors.I was too tired, just wanted to get some sleep. I did get a good night's rest.
